Kris said almost with a snort but she couldn't say anything back about the man honestly because he had supported her through all her injuries and had faith in her to come back. There was a knock on the door and Kris went to answer it since she knew it was their food. "Okay, food's here. Let's dig in."

"As long as you're sure." Kris said as she brought the food back and sat it down for the to women to start eating. Kris couldn't help but be relieved that the night had ended with everything working out and Dani being able to decide what she wanted and not thrust into a situation.

I know you haven't been getting a lot of sleep for worrying about all this." She was sure her friend would be out like a light when she went to bed. "You're worrying too much, he's a nice guy and we can think of a lie that he'll believe. I'm sure you wasn't going to tell him why you were like that."
