Yesterday I was thinking of death a lot and how one can’t really explain the agony of losing someone dear to you. That is a pain unique to grief for it does not feel like anything else, not everything can be put into words.

And if it does not benefit you in the least, you leave it. Life is too short for you to linger in the hope that something may one day become worthwhile, because if you die waiting you have died a fruitless life. Get off your knees and dust your thighs. The dead is dead, and the living must prevail.

For you to truly live, you have to overcome your attachment to familiarity and embrace the unknown.

Why is white the colour of purity, yet it is so easily tainted by the slightest touch? The colour of purity is black. It cannot be stained.

I do believe that life is all about doing little things to fill up your cup until God decides to tip it over.

A lover and a leaver. I will not stand by any disrespect towards me, even if it hurts I will leave angry, I will leave with a tinge of regret, a lot of sadness but I will leave. Nobody is worth your peace, even the so called love of your life.

I wish I held on tightly to what I love, but I am too busy grasping for myself and that itself is so consuming. None of what I’ve loved bears claw marks, only I carry the scars of my obsession.

Our souls will find each other in all lifetimes, in every reincarnation, across every universe. The sun will shine in all its glory, the stars will look down in witness, the moon will glow in awe of us. Such devotion has not been seen, even among the gods.

Sometimes the love you have for your father will only be obligatory and you will have accept that it’s okay. How could you possibly hate someone whose sacrifice of life is the foundation of yours ?

At some point in grief you are urged to move on with your life, but what do I do when moving on feels like betrayal to the person I’ve lost? What do I do with the guilt that has entwined itself with my days? Tell me, what do I do ?

And please, do try to hold on to life the way you cling on to the idea of death.
