Currently going through my drafts, I saw that you went on a hiatus and your reasons for it, and I am sorry if people were shitty. Kadri was very inspiring to me. I am sad that we lost a great OC to such circumstances. Of course going where what you have muse for takes you is 100 percent acceptable I just thought I'd express my love for Kadri rather than not. Thank you for the time I got to read her!

here’s a proper hiatus announcement now that i’m not so emotional.

i’m placing kadri on a tentatively indefinite hiatus. the tl;dr is that i’m no longer happy here, writing her replies is a struggle because her muse is fussy, and i’m not sure when that will change as much as i love this blog and my writing partners. i have another blog and info on that is under the cut, but otherwise, i am happy to continue talking to friends & maybe even doing some lowkey writing on dis/cord – i’ll come on here to check im’s occasionally so shoot an im if you want my dis/cord.

WELL, IT HAD GONE BETTER THAN REY HAD ANTICIPATED SO THAT was one positive. About to lean away, to give the other woman a chance to catch her breath and to take in what had just happened but it seemed Kadri had other ideas. Rey allowed her lips to linger a little longer, parting them slightly in order to deepen the kiss as Kadri had. Bravery had paid off in this instance and Rey finally broke the kiss - though she did not retreat far - and brushed her nose against the princess’. ❝ I know that was sudden and out of place during wartime, but I couldn’t keep going and risking everything if I didn’t do that at least once, I’m sorry. ❞

“you’re sorry, for what?” kadri’s cheeks are still pooled with heat as she studies rey’s features, and the expression written across her face. she lets her hand fall from her face only to curl around her forearm, thumb brushing lazily against warm skin. “the war be damned. i think i’m gonna kiss you again, rey.” gods, she wants to. if she goes the way of most pilots and goes in a brilliant flash in the sky sooner rather than later, she thinks she’d best take every scrap of living she can get right now. and there is something in this woman that she finds worth risking everything for.

“that’d be him.” frankly, that’s the answer kadri was expecting. tamás has a way of getting under the skin... and under the skirts. she almost snorts at the use of unfortunately. “would you do it again, do you think?” she knows her answer to that question -- and it does come tacked with an ‘unfortunately’.
