overall i really loved this album just not as much as i loved guts. it’s probably just because i’ve never been in love so it’s hard for me to relate, as well as i’m more of a rock-type of person and guts was more that vibe but i loved the album still!

so i’m born and raised from hawai'i and i’m currently going to college in colorado. and there’s this girl that i’m like kind of friends with(?) but i’m also trying to distance myself from for moral, ethical, and political reasons. and she is like one of the most disrespectful people i have ever met and i’m wondering if it’s a difference in culture or if it’s just a her problem.

like there was this one time we were in the parking lot and receipts fell out of her car, and she was just like “don’t pick it up, it’s fine” and i gave her a weird look and picked it up anyways obviously. but i also noticed that there was plastic candy trash on the ground that i went to pick up too and this girl started yelling at me about “what if there’s drugs inside”… as if there was no such thing as drugs in hawaii and i was a naive child. also like… it’s clear plastic. i’m not just going to leave it on the ground are you serious.

and like she’s just thrown receipts out of her moving car on the highway?? and literally said to me and my other friend from hawaii “fuck pronouns” KNOWING that i’m queer and we both have queer friends and i’m an art major surrounded by all kinds of queer people? but then acts like she loves gay people… and when me and my friend talk about hawaii and how it’s illegal to touch sea turtles and seals she will act like it’s not a big deal and “i’m touch that mf anyway i don’t care” like what.
