kirby right back at ya’s biggest problem is that it was written to be a niche show aimed at weird analytical queers with actual media literacy and it accidentally blew tf up and hit the mainstream and a bunch of people who have never had a second thought about anything got into it

do some dentists (in our experience the majority of them) just think that you can shame people into taking better care of their teeth. bc like. you really genuinely cannot especially when a lot of the time the struggles to take care of your teeth are a result of a disability in one way or another be that memory problems or joint problems or issues with swallowing. there’s so much that can make tooth care a pain in the ass and the fact that a lot of professionals’ responses to that is just “do better” without acknowledging the factors that go into it is so incredibly frustrating.

are you able to brush without using toothpaste bc even the non-foaming kind makes us sick :(
