#copper.txt #listening to the xc2 soundtrack to prep for our replay bc we need to be in a specific headspace for 2 and. god we really do love this game #even if our feelings on it are complicated compared to the rest of the trilogy it is still a game that is very dear to us #nia's arc especially is an element of the story that really resonated with us #and still does tbh. her arc is incredibly compelling there's a reason she's our favourite of xc2's main party #we also just really enjoy playing as her but that is largely because we like her so much as a character rather than a reason for liking her

yvette collecting + pressing plants and flowers to feel closer to camille after her death btw. talking to camille while she goes through the process as if she’s still there. yvette viewing her own collection as picking up where camille left off because her own was made up exclusively of plants found in eryth sea and alcamoth. addressing her notes on each preserved specimen to someone who will never be able to read them.
