That's right. Dan Heng cares for her. No matter what happens, he'll always be there for her.
How could she forget that so quickly?
She would understand if it were someone she didn't see often, but this is Dan Heng. The person who saved her from more than one situation. He doesn't deserve to be forgotten like that. None of them do.
So why was she so willing to forget every good thing?
Their paths are inseparable, overlapping one another like a sandwich. When one person takes a different path, the other joins, and then the entire Express. That's who Nameless is. That's Dan Heng.
That's why, as soon as she saw him at her door, a small smile appeared on her face. Creating another, additional path—one that Dan Heng himself had subconsciously built for her.
Forgetting the difficult, strange situation that had occurred earlier, she joined him at a rather slow pace. Creating in this metaphorical path: pink beautiful flowers.
"Dan Heng!" A loud, cheerful voice echoed throughout the Express. And everyone already realized - that March 7th had returned to them.

Growling fades when he catches Yiska in peripheral, turning to see what she wants. It's not a great time. But her suggestion changes that entirely and he quickly agrees to follow her to the bath, removing his coat as he leaves.
He'd been planning on his pot but this is just as good, even better with a friend, and it's thanks to her that Dan Heng falls asleep rather quickly amongst the comforting distraction and company.

Uh, what the heck is that machine's list? Maybe he really is feeling like the three-year-old he jokes he is cause he doesn't understand some of those words. Normally he'd look them up but something tells him maybe he just shouldn't bother right now.

I have included not just main quests, but also Companion Quests, story-relevant events, character trailers, animated shorts, Myriad Celestias, literally everything one might need to get the fullest experience short of actually playing. Yes, the Amphoreus sections are fully voiced. The only thing missing are the "Keeping Up With" as I honestly wasn't sure if I should include them or not.
I've had this playlist for ages but it was only up to 2.5 and only had main quest and companion missions til then. But someone expressed interest in the game and couldn't play it, so I figured I should update that playlist to actually be helpful.

As mentioned in the prior post about these, I'm willing to ship anywhere. The document has all the details. Just message me. We are willing to haggle price as well, I just put what my mom tells me based on how long it took her, the size, and how many different yarns included. We say rectangles because they can be scarves, furniture decoration, table-runners, whatever you'd like.
Dan Heng is not oblivious but he is going to wait until someone directly asks him or tries something. He's hoping they'll change their minds and/or decide not to on their own.
Regardless, he will have to update the vidyadhara biology lesson he gave the Express Crew years ago after the Luofu. A sigh as he adds that into the schedule on his phone.

The harmonic thrum is quickly accompanied by a rumbling purr as Dan Heng continues to match his tail movements to theirs. Something pleasing in having another who can do this alongside him.

//So I know for many the economy is shit and I hate to ask, but I've been trying to move for a while now. Many of you know about my shitty-ass neighbor but there is more to the story. If you're interested it's under the cut.
The important part is that in order to move and not get rejected again, I need to help my disabled mom pay off a debt. She's the one with the credit score. My brother and I are too new to adulthood to even have one, so I know the issue is her. But we siblings can't live with just us, refuse to leave her behind, and our dad is not an option for her. I only work part-time and can't get another job. My brother is too busy with school. I don't make enough to do this on my own without taking far too long.

Full story under cut;
The debt is to an internet company. We couldn't afford them at some point and got shut off, but they still kept charging us? We've argued with the collections people and they knocked it down but I know it's still more than it should be. But we can't get ahold of them anymore so the only choice is to pay. We're using a cheaper company now but that debt is on her credit score and holding it back.
As for the rest...
We've been living in this apartment for I wanna say 7+ years now? We moved in after staying at my aunt's place for a few years because our old apartment got too expensive and we had nowhere to go. While we were with her (and her husband and daughter) we (me, my brother, my mom) shared a room so all our belongings were in a storage unit. We did not realize it was a crappy storage unit.
A few years ago we realized in our move to this apartment, we had accidentally brought with us from the storage unit closet moths. We had no idea for years. By then they had infiltrated the carpet and it was too late to simply place traps.
There is no purging them without ripping up the entire carpet of the apartment. With all our furniture? The only option is to move out and management will handle it before the next person moves in.
If you are concerned about the crochet scarves, don't be! We keep them in airtight containers and regularly check them. They are completely clean and if you want one I can promise they are fine and I will triple-check before shipping.
My brother was horrified enough to spend time at my dad's though because he felt scared of his room, and we thought it would be a few weeks at most to solve the issue, but we quickly learned the futility of it. It's been years now. He's not coming back until we move out. He misses our mom dearly but that's his line.
We have been mitigating as that's the best we can do until we leave. And the final nail in the coffin is the asshole neighbor some of you know about.
There is no sound insulation in these shitty apartments. We didn't know because our previous downstairs neighbors were quiet. The guy who moved in last year?
He turns the bathroom into a nightclub with every shower. I can hear his Discord alert bleeps when he plays console. I know what PC games he plays with his friends and how crappy they are at Fortnite purely because he is so loud and obnoxious. I cannot exist in my room without headphones or earplugs. I had to order extremely sound dampening ones just to sleep because he screams over Discord at 3am like his friends don't know how to turn their volume up.
Our apartment has Quiet Hours. Management doesn't care. "He can't be heard in the stairwell so it's fine." But he sure as hell can be heard inside! I've given up on them. I'm sure they think I'm the girl who cried wolf at this point.
Yes, I have spoken with the neighbor. It was how I got him to stop blasting bass-boosted music loud enough to shake my room. But the rest won't stop. And eventually he stopped answering the door so I left him notes. And later he left me a very threatening one saying he would call the cops for harassment and how he's so nice that he could do worse but he doesn't, and how god forbid he not have his 15 minutes of nightclub shower.
I stopped leaving notes. I have just suffered. I know he is bluffing, the cops won't do shit when I've been quiet as a mouse compared to bass-boosted toddler, but there is nothing I can do. He behaves like he's five and won't listen.
I've joked with my family that I'm going to wind up on the news for assault one of these days. I have better control than that, I won't actually, but god it would be cathartic.
So yeah, we want out as soon as possible. But none of us make enough money and pooling it is such slow going when bills keep coming at us. We tried in April but got rejected because of the aforementioned credit score. It has been improving but there is that debt looming in the numbers.
//So uh... Just found out my work hours got cut next month. I work part-time which is already not many hours and my shifts just got cut by half.
I don't blame my manager, she's cool and doing her best and this is a corporate choice she has to comply with. But it means I make even less money this August and we're still trying to make a dent for moving while I also have to foot our internet bill.
