Her touch made him freeze, more anchored in place        than he had been moments before. It was questionable,        the way she approached, prodded at his brain with         big words and gentle gestures. Very severed from         the familiar ties of Lannister bigotry.
Slowly, he allowed her body to guide his, for her fingers      to touch at his arm as he continued to stare.      Some part of him recognized a level of awkwardness.      Of being too obtuse and too young.      A green boy to the wiles of women.
“Y-You are not afraid?” His voice was careful,    as if he was unsure what nature would    require protection. Should there be a fight, he was    unlikely to rescue her. Not in the way she took to him,    crept into his personal space and made    short work of his already frayed nerves.
Lancel felt his eyes water curiously and shut    them quickly to abet them. “How is it y-you…”    against his better judgement he found voice    to the question he hadn’t permitted.
”You offer aid and I l-little protection. Such a woman may not be worded as lowly,” there were no added titles, just a soft whispered sound that mimicked a sob.
" Fear is for those with something to lose --     and I lack such  things. " her smile was kind as she     guide him away from the conflict. She took no part in     the wars of such a place as this, she had fought a war     once and suffered for it. She had fallen far from the light     of the stars, now she was but the faintest glimmer.        Steadying him she moved quickly, she had thought      it folly to come to such a place as this again. For here      more were likely to know her  than tucked within the shadows      of a far away place. Yet she had dreamt of this place, and felt      a need within her very bones to return to it .            " --- There will be no fight we can not handle,         there will be none that touch us. Two together are         strong are they not? It is those that battle alone who         must fear -- "     Comforting words , truth be told they were but a faint memory of     words her brother had once said. Words she now held close in     memory of him. " I have no grand accommodations, but I can at     least lend you aide before you find yourself returning to the sept     or even the maesters -- come , I can give you wine and rest. Even     bandage wounds. "         Releasing her gentle hand from his arm where she had       been keeping him steadied, she moved into the shadows       opening a small and humble door. " -- Such is my home."
