You uh... mean just MIKE, right?
Well! When Mike's in a SMALL mood, he is quite the reliable fellow! Always there to build the set for me, set up the snack tables, work extra overtime, you name it!! Bit of a short temper if you ask me, but I couldn't do it without him!
When Mike's feeling like a COWBOY, they're a pretty swell fellow! They're always around to help me when I'm feeling a little glooby down, and they've got such a way with words! Reminds me of the old western shows I used to run!
And then when Mike happens to be PLUEY? Well, I just love seeing that special little guy!! Makes me wish I could be pluey sometimes...
We sure do have our ups and downs, me and Mike, but Mike always comes around!! Dont you, Mike???

Dess is dead. She's been dead for a long time.
The Roaring Knight is still most likely to be Dess, but this may not depend on Dess being alive.
That Noelle is still searching Dess's name online, it's unclear whether she's trying to find her or any news about her case... but I'm starting to lean away from the idea that her case is still open...
Is the other reason Noelle's such a people-pleaser because of abandonment issues?
...And... if we read into "running away" as a narrative euphemism for... another kind of being gone...
...Asgore would sound crazy for trying to clear his name if Dess' disappearance was ruled a runaway case when he knew it wasn't.
