How to memorize a LOT (i mean it. A LOT) of things real quick?

DEAR SCIENCE, you people keep asking me for memorization tips like my previous answers got petrified and buried somewhere?!
Fine. I'll rerun my advice.
First: don't just reread stuff until your brain turns into soup. Active recall is the actual cheat code, so, close your little notes and force yourself to retrieve the information. Your brain remembers what it has to find, not what it passively sees.
Second: SPACE. IT. OUT. Review after increasing gaps instead of cramming everything into one miserable night. Your memory gets stronger when it has to rebuild the connection.
Third: and finally, attach information to something. A weird image, a story, a pattern, anything. Your brain is way better at storing meaning than random data. Thats why the 100 Tales stuck around for so long, my old man knew that stories go far longer than a set of rules.

memory is also fine tuned to different people! you should try to explain what you want to know in yuor own words. to master a subject is to teach it to others! you'll memorize it better if you're trying to teach it to others. OR you'll see what parts your missing!!
