And I know you will look at me, as you looked at others, because I never occupied a special space in your heart, never disturb anything in your mind, never inhabit anything on your skin, and never leave a mark on your bed. Not even the smell of my sweat or my scent on your pillow. I only remember how that sheet and mattress hugged me tightly, while you were sitting at your desk.
