This blog did not and will not send requests for bitcoin donations.
There seems to be a virus or some sort of malware going around causing blogs to âsend outâ chat messages to blogs that they follow asking for help with the purchase of certain items through donations of seemingly small amounts using bitcoin and adds a link to the message.
The message goes as following (at least the first message I got went like this): âHi there buddy. I need help, Iâm trying to buy a laptop and I canât afford it. Iâm about 0.36$ short, and Iâd really appreciate if you could help me and transfer some money to me via bitcoin using this *link*.â
The small details in the message seems to have a few variations with the greeting, amount and purchased item showing up in different variations from formal to friendly, from 0.016 to 2$ and from a phone case to a laptop among others.
The blogs that are affected send out the messages to blogs that they follow for a long time mostly, so you are most likely to receive the message from a long time, active follower whose name you might recognize or a mutual etc. The blogs that are affected are not spam bots but actual active followers who follow the recipient for months or years and most likely the blogger who âsentâ the message is unaware of the message being sent.
DO NOT OPEN THE LINK.
Opening up the link will cause the virus to spread even more and infect your computer/mobile with any sort of malware.
If you have received a message of that sort from this blog please know that it was not sent by me or within my control and ignore/delete the message without clicking the link.
Hi friends & followers. Apparently thereâs a new thing where blogs are sending messages asking to be sent some bitcoin w/ a link to a digital wallet. Some accounts are bots, but some are from active users who may not even realize their blog was compromised.
So, if you see a message like this, send an ask or post/tag them so they know. Dont click on the link. Post something like this to warn your own followers & ask them to tell you if they get a message from your account. Tell me if you get one from mine.
Hello all, Time to go over the progress weâve made on gamedev since the last update! As you can see below, Iâve finally got all of the classmates designed and into a physical form!Â
Youâll see more about her in a later post, as well as the other character, but note that these last two are some of my favorite ones!

Here are the other things that Iâve completed in November:
Implemented all of the classmates into MV.
Planned out all the areas and maps for chapter 1
Wrote the dialogue and jokes for chapter 1.
Got some help revising the chapter 1 dialogue.
So as you can see now that all the major characters are planned out, Iâve been working heavily on planning chapter one. Once thatâs complete, the next thing to do will be to balance all the encounters.
Itâs going to be tough to workin December because of the Holidays, but I have no doubt that weâll get some more progress done!

Do you work in a team or you do all the amazing music (emphasis on amazing ;;) and art by yourself?
I donât work with a team per se but I do get tons of help with the art. Iâm not very at art; my skills lie more in the writing and overall design of the game, so I get some people to kind of make my vision become real. Iâm actually working on a credits post so I can help get the word out about their skills!
Other than that, Iâm really doing most of the work alone ^^
In terms of things that I actually created, I worked on some of the music tracks (Iâll be posting some of the stuff Iâve made soon), the character sprites, and have done edits to a lot of the battle sprites you will be seeing.
Iâll be sure to distinguish all the stuff Iâve worked on vs things that others have worked on of course!
Hello! As promised, here is my first progress update for Starboy since Iâve made this DevLog!
Iâve had the idea for Starboy for a while now, and itâs been a project that Iâve been working on and off with for about 3 years or so. However it wasnât until the start of this year that I started to put that plan into action!Â
You know, you get ideas in your head, you write them down, and you mull over them while you are supposed to be doing real things? Well, that idea is coming to life now!
Over the last month, Iâve made a lot of progress in getting the characters ready. My approach is to work on playable characters first, and make them fully playable. Then I can begin work on the first game area.
So far, Iâve got 10 out of the 12 characters playable (Sprites, busts, skills, etc). So thereâs only two more to go! Iâm hoping that I can tackle the remaining two in November, so that I can move on to designing the first chapter.Â
I know things may change in the future, but I at least have a set skeleton for each character, so making changes will be quick and easy.
Here are some other things that Iâve made progress on last month:
Got all the OST implemented into the engine (Sound track 100% complete!)
Fully finished all aspects of the menu.
Have a basic layout and script for Chapter 1.
Implemented a few of the chapter 1 enemies.
Finished databasing (aside from the last two characters)
Backed up my project more than I would like to admit (Always keep a back up of your project files!)

Iâve been designing the first boss fight of the game.
âSharkToothâ Capone is an extremely tough cookie, plus he can do anything a Shark can (as well as breathe on land)!
This is probably my favorite part of the RPG Dev process, coming up with interesting enemies and trying to figure out how to make them challenging for the player!

Something that was requested was that I give some information about the characters, particularly Starboy and his classmates.
 I wonât go into TOO MUCH detail surrounding them, but this will give you enough to know a little about their stories, powers and abilities.
 Iâll try to do this once every couple of weeks! Today, weâll start with the titular Starboy!
Biography
Name: Allen Alonzo
Alias: âThe Spectacular Starboyâ
Age: 16
Trait: âAtlasâ
From a young age, Starboy dreamed of being a great hero. However, he was born with a rare medical condition called ITD, or Intermittent Trait Disorder. This disability effected Starboyâs ability to control his trait, shutting it off seemingly randomly, and at worst, activating it at inopportune moments.Â
Because of this, many kids his age stayed away from him, he didnât grow up with many friends, and he was teased and bullied. None of this got him down however, and he continues to try his best to be a hero that inspire others, much like his favorite heroes has inspired him.
Because of his ITD, Starboy has trouble controlling his Trait. Many doctors told him that this would end his hero career before it even started, but Starboy was able to get into Justice Academy through a lottery system. It was a lucky turn of events that put Starboy in this prestigious hero academy, but because of it many students look down on him as someone that didnât âearnâ his spot.
Will Starboy prove them wrong? Youâll have to play the game to find out!
Trait
Atlas is a power-type trait, that enhances all of the physical strengths and attributes of the body to superhuman levels. The user becomes incredibly strong, fast, and durable.Â
It has an odd side effect of making the user glow brightly when in use, much like a star.
With enough skill and practice, the user can focus Atlas into specific parts of their body, granting an extra boost to that part at the cost of no strength anywhere else. For instance, focusing the power into the arms can increase the strength of a punch drastically.
There are a few downsides to this power. First, the user durability increase from this trait is strong enough to protect them from enemy attacks, but because the user is so strong, their own attacks take a toll on them. This risk can be reduced with the proper training. Secondly, overuse of their power can result in extreme fatigue.
Atlas grants the following effects:
Enhanced Strength: The user possess great strength, way above the average human. Task such as lifting cars, or punching through walls are small feats for the user of Atlas. Despite this, durability is increased but not to the same degree as the userâs strength is.
Enhanced Speed and Agility: By strengthening the legs, the user can move around much quicker than the average human. Jumping ability and speed drastically increase.
Enhanced Senses: All five senses are heavily strengthened while under the effects of Atlas. Sight, Scent, Hearing, Touch and Taste are all much stronger than the average human.
Accelerated Healing: The bodyâs healing functions are much stronger when Atlas is in use, allowing the user to heal and recover much quicker.
