I hate when people try to be contrarian about an acclaimed piece of media but don't even have a genuine hot take about why it sucks because they didn't engage with it and were never going to. They went into the work determined to hate it for aloof edgelord points, they just hadn't made up their mind yet whether they want to call it "so boring I almost fell asleep" or "an unintentional comedy"
