Personally, I view him as a chaotic big brother or uncle type caregiver

he definitely teases a lot, but feels bad when he accidentally takes it too far

if his regressor is on the younger end, he's a little more awkward at first, not knowing what to do, but eventually gets the hang of it

he definitely clicks more with older kid regressors (6-12ish)

He'll sneak away from adventures with you to explore the area around the circus

No set schedule at all with him, just kind of going with the flow

i headcanon that vincent is either the oldest child or youngest child with a lot of siblings

so he could've been either parentified if he was the oldest or neglected/forgotten if he was the youngest

vincent regresses alone, and typically prefers it that way

while vincent may not have the term age regression, he is aware when he does it and has a general idea of what and why it is

vincent spends a lot of time alone when regressed, since it's what he's used to

Unless he trusts someone, nobody would be able to tell he was regressed

Vincent keeps a lot of picture books for when he regresses

Vincent would've loved sesame street and the muppets, but unfortunately he didn't live in a time

Vincent loved anything to do with puppets or sharks

vox regresses to 0-3

alastor isn't really a good caregiver at first

he thought he could just leave vox at home alone with a bottle and/or a pacifer. he was wrong.

he learned that after he came home and vox just regressed harder and kept the both of them up all night fussing and crying

so, yeah, alastor did better next time

vox either refuses to eat unless alastor is feeding him or he refuses help feeding himself even when he desperately needs it

sometimes vox is so quiet when regressed younger that alastor forgets he's there

however when he's 2-3

up all night, every night! (unless you need naps, that is.)

going swimming or to playgrounds at night,,,

nightlights and glow stars everywhere!

so many things glow in the dark

ordering things online because nothing's open, so you don't have to deal with people

being so, so sleepy whenever you have to go out during the day,,,

they love to tell you spooky stories
