mike hanlon didn’t worship bill denbrough bc the only person he ever idolised as a child was his dad and rightfully so. yes he loved bill but always saw him as an equal and a friend. he only started to idealise bill in his mind years later and after his dad had already died (and then again NOT to the same extreme as eddie richie or bev who would all literally die for bill without question) mike hanlon didn’t need bill to be his hero bc his own amazing father was his hero even years after he died okay thanks for coming to my ted talk

not to dote on richard tozier because that ain’t me but really he got so fucked over in the end? mike and bill have their weird little no-ring-on-bill’s-hand-i-love-you-conversation and ben and bev straight up just make a new life together (and im happy about that) but richie?? the love of his life is dead and his unofficially offical best friend killed himself before that, he obviously has the other 4 but like they unintentionally paired off a left him alone?? the irony in that is that stan and eddie didn’t want to be left alone but stan ended up dying alone in his bath and eddie got left under neibolt. richie loved all his friends and reallt honestly deserves happiness after. all i’m saying is andy mushetti and stephen king id like a word.
