Dynamite Women (1976) aka The Great Texas Dynamite Chase, with Claudia Jennings and Jocelyn Jones
Fawn Faurote on the cover of California Girl, 1972.
Julie Newmar stars on the cover and in this photo-musical feature from Esquire, September 1962. The pictures are fun and you’ll really get a kick out of the songs—as long as you know the originals: “The Varsity Drag,” “Buckle Down Winsocki,” “The Sweetheart of Sigma Chi,” and “You Gotta Be a Football Hero.” And hey, who doesn’t know those classics? We love us some “Buckle Down Winsocki.”
Extremely dated back-to-college whimsy for back-to-school season. Julie looks good tho. Wonder how many readers were disappointed to find out it was her actual ditties on the inside. DITTIES, they said DITTIES. Not whatever you thought. Pervert.

Male Point of View, August 1957, with Judy Bamber on the cover. “They Crush Skulls For Fun!”
Legendary Italian pop singer and sex symbol Sabrina Salerno turns 55 tody. Here are 9 magazine covers dating to her 1988-92 heyday and some pretty damn good bikini pictures from today -- a solid 30-35 years later. Happy birthday, Sabrina.
Happy 92nd. Birthday to Mamie van Doren!

Kate Upton
La Lollo is gone.
The third-place finisher in the 1947 Miss Italy pageant went on to become one of the great European sex symbols of the ‘50s.
Gina Lollobrigida broke through playing Lina Cavalleri in Beautiful but Dangerous (1955), Lola in Trapeze (1956, opposite Tony Curtis and Burt Lancaster) and Esmeralda in The Hunchback of Notre Dame (also ‘56, opposite Anthony Quinn). She smoldered as Sheba to Yul Brynner’s Solomon in Solomon and Sheba (1959), won a Golden Globe as fan favorite in Come September (1961, with Rock Hudson), received critical acclaim as Napoleon’s little sister in Venere Imperiale (1963), and was nominated for a Golden Globe for the comedy Buona Sera, Mrs. Campbell (1968). She more or less retired from acting soon after, to focus on photography, and got the ungettable interview with Fidel Castro in 1974. She carried on a supposed feud with Sophia Loren for 70 years, though it may have been a sustained publicity stunt. Gina Lollobrigida was 95 when she died on Monday.
