Sorry, Baby (2025)

I'm a firm believer that movies about dark topics like, trigger warning, sexual assault, don't need to show the actual incident. This movie is about that, but it doesn't show anything, it perfectly sets the tone and articulates how she feels without needing that unnecessary shocking & uncomfortable scene. And the ending wasn't her entirely getting "better" or getting some sort of revenge, which I think for a movie with such a heavy subject like this, they dont always need a dramatically happy ending. Love this one

The Furious (2025)

I went to see this in theaters without any prior knowledge, I just read the summary and thought it'd be fun to go see, and I was so right. Genuinely one of the best action movies I've ever seen, all the fight scenes back to back had my jaw dropped and focused the entire movie. And I love that the main character is mute & uses sign language and writing to communicate, there wasn't any big reason to why he doesn't speak that's just how he was

Leviticus (2026)

The religious themes in this movie was ofc uncomfortable, but insanely important to talk about how conversion therapy and suppressing who you are is just abusive. When this movie ended, I was sort of confused like "that was it?", but the more I let it marinate in my brain, I loved that there wasn't some big ending where they got rid of what cursed them. They had each other, and thats all that mattered

Obsession (2025)

I went on a big movie binge this month and watched about 38 films, which let me reach 100 total for this year!!! only 100 more to go :3

27 Steps Of May (2018)

A very sad movie about this woman who completely withdrawals from life after a traumatic event. I loved this movie, I think it articulated the emotions very well. It was one of the 3 movies I watched on the 1st of this month that had 'May' in the title, along with May (2002) and May December (2023), but I felt that this was the most notable out of the 3 of them!!

Mysterious Skin (2004)

I didn't know how much I needed this movie until I watched it. Genuinely such a violent film, but so incredibly powerful and innocently articulates the emotions of each boy in a raw way that tears you open. I will always adore this film, it had me thinking about it for weeks afterwards, and I still do sometimes. Easily a favorite for me.

Michael (2026)

I went and saw this in theaters, overall the music will always hit. I'm happy that they're working on a good accurate biography that paints michael jackson in a better light that he deserves, a lot of the controversies they put him through were purely evil and I hope they're careful in the 2nd movie when they cover that aspect of his life. A lot of people during his time didn't understand him and it made me feel for him so bad, he didn't deserve to be judged and hurt so bad

No Other Choice (2025)

This movie was so beautiful, I love how it wasn't so overdone but still goes crazy. Majority of the time I was just admiring the cinematography, def worth the watch if you're interested

Pizza Movie (2026)

This movie was so cute and funny and dumb, worth watching. It was nice to see more work that Caleb Hearon does!!

Flying Colors (2015)

this movie was so cute, same vibes as Legally Blonde and I also enjoyed that one a lot

D.E.B.S. (2004)

I love trashy 2000s movies, and this one was a lesbian romance which made it even better. very entertaining

The Grand Budapest Hotel (2014)

This was my 2nd Wes Anderson film, the first being his latest The Phoenician Scheme (2025) that I watched last December, and I found a great love for his style. I went on to watch Asteroid City (2023), The French Dispatch (2021), & Isle of Dogs (2018), all of which I enjoyed as well. But I think my favorite work of his that I've seen so far is this one, not only does Wes Anderson have a beautiful symmetrical style of each detailed scene, the story and comedy and tone of each movie makes it so entertaining. I'm looking forward to watching more of his work!!!

Bullet Train (2022)

I've heard some great things about this movie and finally got around to watching it, and I'm very happy I did this movie was great!!! Really funny, creative, and entertaining. I loved the dialogue, introductions of each character, and how the story unfolded. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that Bad Bunny was an actor in here, I looked more into his acting work and was even more pleasantly surprised to find that he was in a movie I watched last december, Caught Stealing (2025). This month I also watched Happy Gilmore 2 (2025) & Cassandro (2023) to see more of what Bad Bunny has acted in, I wasn't aware of how much hes done but its really cool to see and check out!!

La La Land (2016)

I've had a hard time with this movie, when I first watched it years ago I didn't understand it, but I continued to hear good things about this movie so I decided to give it another chance, and I'm glad I did. It definitely helps when you understand whats going on, and it even brought me to tears a little towards the end. I'm glad I understand this movie better and respect the hype for it!!

A movie that just released this year, I saw it in theaters and it was sooo good!! The beginning was a little slow, however those cinematic shots over the tuna sandwich were genuinely so random and funny. I was unsure of how the movie would end but I was satisfied with that ending!

Iron Lung (2026)

I also saw this one in theaters as well, I don't regularly watch youtubers but I do enjoy Mark's work and wanted to check out this project of his. I LOVED it so much, it is sort of slow paced but I think that's just how the story is supposed to be. All the blood was perfect, the way we didn't entirely know what was going on outside of the submarine was perfect, and I always love when films don't try to make a happy ending when it doesn't fit. I already need to rewatch this one

GoodFellas (1990)

I was surprised how much I enjoyed this movie, I haven't watched many in this genre but I for sure need to check some more out. I liked the pacing of this, the narrating and dialogue was really good, and I enjoyed the tone of this movie

This movie was so complex and was so interesting the entire way through, I love how open the end was and overall really enjoyed this one!!

Moonlight (2016)

The last life chapter threw me off a little idk how he got so muscular, but I still liked this movie it was really emotional

Alice In Wonderland (2010)

I haven't seen any other works of alice in wonderland before watching this, but I should really get more into it since I enjoyed this movie so much. "All the best people are mad" is so comforting to me, and the disorganized chaotic confusing yet fun universe was very enjoyable!!

A war movie I think about WW1. Going into it I thought they would detail more about the characters and their personalities, but they didn't really do that, so imo it was just a generic film showing the tragedy of war.

LITTLE WOMEN (2019)

This movie wasn't as slow paced as I thought it would be, it was really cute and I enjoyed it!!

THE VIRGIN SUICIDES (1999)

This movie was interesting but there wasn't a lot to it imo, its a sad movie as the title implies

ONE BATTLE AFTER ANOTHER (2025)

A really long movie but it was good and the pacing makes up for it being almost 3 hours. I liked it but it made me kinda uncomfortable with the freaky parts

This movie had some really gross scenes but aside from that I sorta liked it
