Headcannon that when Kirk pisses off Spock, he gets flopped on. Vulcan has higher gravity than earth and thus Vulcans weigh more on average than humans would, and Spock isn’t exactly little.

Something very important about The Naked Time to me is that Kirk had as much if not more contact with infected peoples, but his onset of symptoms is extremely delayed... similar to Spock...
