Inspired by my new roommate. Featuring the said new roommate.
one time i knew a girl who wrote an entire paper on johnlock for an english class and she made a post on her tumblr about it saying that the teacher had given it back to her with a note saying i ship it too and gave her an A+ but i knew for a fact it wasn’t true because i was assigned to hand back papers that day and in reality she had failed the paper and our teacher had written SEE ME at the top
this is my fave example of what tumblr is like bc it’s a fake post about fake posts, an ouroburos eating itself for eternity, and that’s what discussing any topic on this website is like
unlike Snape . . .

Reading Challenge!
Some of my amazing coworkers have started a staff reading challenge and I thought I would share the criteria they came up with, in case anyone else out there is interested. We’re in Vancouver, so you can see how that’s influenced these categories - you could definitely adapt them for wherever you are.
Challenge your friends or coworkers!
From my colleagues:
Inspired by the "We Need Diverse Books" movement, staff have decided to challenge ourselves to read more diverse books in 2016. Here are rules and the categories we came up to guide us in our year-long challenge!
Rules:
Each month participating staff will read a book, fiction or non-fiction, that fits one or more of the categories below. Limited to one title per month read during the reporting month.
Multiple story/works, eg short story collections, anthology and poetry, are not permitted for this challenge.
After completing the book staff will add it to our reporting page [page with a table for each month with everyone’s name and space for metadata/review].
At the end of the year, points will be totaled and a winner will be announced. Prizes TBD.
If you qualify, the following bonus points will be added to your score at the end of December:
12 points if you read and enter one title per month
16 points if by the end of the year you have coverd all 18 categories in the books you have read throughout the year
As the year progresses see how you rank against your co-workers. Categories:
