no offence but i’ll never get over the fact that steve really left his friends and also best friend who he literally risked his life several times for, went against the avengers and also the government, and fought against his own friends to save, to go back in time and be with a woman he knew for like, what, a few years or something?? he hadnt seen peggy for like the 10 years (way way more than he’s known her for) that he’s been in the future and barely ever mentioned her again after the first cap movie but suddenly in endgame she’s important again???? this isn’t even a matter of like shipping or anything it’s a matter of bad writing. like believe me I loved endgame but I still can’t believe they really decided to go with such a terrible message that you shouldn’t let go of past lovers/friends/etc and shouldn’t move on because there’s a chance you could be together again. Steve could’ve found happiness being where he was
