This deal is pretty universal anywhere you've got a Barberitos, Willys or Moes but on St. Simons, quality food can be expensive so it's nice to spot an inexpensive healthy meal when you have the option.
Barberitos, like any other taco place does every variety of tortilla, meat, bean, etc (quesadilla, burrito, taco), the trick or the secret is that the guys who work there are really good about hooking up the taco. I'm a 180 lb guy and the taco makes an excellent lunch for me.
Order the soft taco and your choice of meat and beans but I usually ask them to add rice, lettuce, pico, etc, you really end up with an excellent portion of food for under $4.00 and it comes with chips and salsa. Refreshing and healthy (if you want it to be), sour cream and guac is a little extra but that's up to you.

A friend of mine once said sandwiches were his favorite food, I thought about that statement for a minute or two and I realized something, with few exceptions, nearly everyone likes sandwiches.
Compared to other deli sandwiches on the island, this is a HUGE bargain, quality is far superior to Subway and definitely on par with Larry's. I realize it's a little bit out of the way but these are great sandwiches to pick up and take to the beach, 2 footlongs for $8.00 and you've got a family of 4 covered until dinner time for sure.
