Balancing Despair

Sorry I’ve been dead for so long! A lot has happened in the last 9months. I was accepted to my first choice BFA program at NCAD and I finally moved out of Michigan!!!!

I’m hoping to dump a bunch of work here soon. To start, here is the progress on an adoptable I’m finishing. I hope y’all are doing well.

i know I’ve had so many of these, especially lately, but money has gotten so, so bad for us and we need to pay rent. i have a new job but training has been sporadic and pays like shit; my first paycheck was today and it was for $26. we need to pay rent in full by monday, october 15.

we have about $200 to our names, in total. we need to pay $1100 to make sure we still have a home.

this has been stressful beyond words and we’re hoping that with new jobs this won’t be a problem anymore. but for now we are desperate for help.

In addition to ongoing work on my novel, I did some stuff in my own settings! The first three of them are just about Surt, Eir, or both, so I probably need to actually write about my other characters in 2018.
