Good Grief

I still think about him everyday. I think about how long he’s been gone. How long I’ve had to live and navigate life without. I’ve had to experience normal parts of life that I never pictured myself experiencing without him. I’m a grown woman and I still feel so incapable without him being here to guide me through very normal and typical situations that we encounter as adults. I can’t help but wonder, will I always feel like this? Will I always feel so incapable, despite knowing that he has given me all the tools to live this life? I have the tools. He taught me well, but I’ve never had to use them on my own.
