well, technically not my very first, but first one since I was a child. And the best part, is that I am now in a queer platonic relationship with 2 partners.

Anyways, it's been really cool so far, I drew us as our favorite scugs, so I will now share it with y'all :D

I kinda got lazy on rockys, so I'll probably change it later, but I think they turned out pretty cool

I also might end up making a low-quality web series about this cuz I'm low-key kinda bored and I think this idea is cool :3

now, this could just be me combining two of my hyperfixations, but I do actually have an idea.

Ryland grace would be a previously abandoned purposed slugcat who was adopted by an iterator named Road Of Everlasting Life (Eva Stratt). R.E.L would name him The grace bringer and recruit him to help her figure out how to ascend the ancients.

The grace bringer would help R.E.L with her research, until one day the ancients started to disappear without anyone sending out a triple affirmative. So R.E.L sent The Grace Bringer as well as two other of her slugcats named The Distance and The Protector (Grace's crew mates) out into the wild to try and find out what was happening to the ancients. They carefully monitored by R.E.L through observers and eventually once reaching a region populated by ancients they split up to collect information.

The Grace Bringer actually meets a scav who was sent by his iterator to try and figure out the ancient problem. The scavs name is rocky (of course) and after figuring out how to communicate Rocky warns of the dangers of this specific region, already killing all of his tribe that he was sent with.This worries Grace Bringer, so he and Rocky try to find his crew mates. Only to find them dead at the claws of a red lizard.

Now that they are both alone they decide to team up to find the cause of the disappearance. But while walking through the acients sewer system they find a warp point, and accidentally fall into it. This causes them to travel far into the future, long after both their iterators where on the brink of collapse and all the acients disappear. The sewer system now was deep deep underground, almost at void sea level. And while traveling through the collapsed tunnels they find a small void sea iota, where The Criminal was struggling to keep afloat. Of course the Grace Bringer and Rocky pulled him out. (Grace Bringer later renames him The listener, because The Criminal isn't a good name for him).

Now, The Criminals story (The convict/Simons) story starts after the disappearance of the acients. He was also a wid slugcat who lived in a group called "Eden". This slugpack was known to be full of troublemakers for the local iterator group called the "C.O.I" (Collective of Observing Iterators). And one day this pack sent a group of scugs (including The Criminal) to steal the refraction core of one of the iterators in the C.O.I system. They didn't realize that this Iterator didn't have any water left to survive, so taking their core accidentally killed them.

The nearby iterator named Birds Life Call (Commander Ava) trapped many of the scugs sent on that mission, and enslaved them to help her figure out how to ascend.

They sent The Criminal into the void sea, to see what ascension really was like. B.L.C put him in a small box connected to a chain with a data Pearl connected to a radiation camera to take photos of the void sea.

Although the chain dissolved halfway down and dropped the box fully into the sea. The criminal fought his ascension, as the void sea worm tried to convince him to submit. He was mutated as the sea broke open the box, and in what he thought where his last moment, he attached the data Pearl to an arm he ripped off (that was boent) and threw it up away fro the sea. It made it to the surface where it was retrieved by B.L.C. Although, The Criminal also somehow managed to float to the surface in a small pool, becoming hal echo from his mental fight with God.

He was then rescued By the Grace Bringer and Rocky. And together they figure out how to live in a decaying world :D

i was just wondering if anyone else had this problem, whenever I write a bloodymarry fic I feel proud of it for like a day, and then the next day I want to eradicate it from the Internet and start fresh.

Idk, maybe I just need to spend more time on my fics before posting them,

This is my character study of grace and Simon in my au "frying pan"

(Don't ask why it's called that, we are working on it -)

I mainly wrote this down to be able to better understand how they would act, and I also decided to share it with you all :3

So yeah, here are my thoughts.

Grace:

Grace is a scientist/teacher, and he takes PRIDE in this.

No more self-conscious grace, nah, this man KNOWS he knows stuff, and will use that against you.

He's pretty intelligent in general as well as being pretty emotionally intelligent, allowing him to read others well.

He can still most definitely be awkward, and definitely come off as weird sometimes, but as far as he thinks of himself, it's pretty high.

He can be a little cocky sometimes, although does a pretty decent job of keeping it under control.

He is really mad at and disgusted by most of human kind for sending him into the stars without his consent, which is also why he doesn't feel too guilty about not being able to save the world.

As the world was already gone when he woke up, so its not like it was worth crying over in his eyes.

He's overall pretty kind hearted, he just gets stressed out when too much pressure is put on him, and tends to vent this stress with anger.

He also loves to yap and over explain things, you as him a single question and he suddenly is telling you everything about that subject.

He is truly a science teacher at heart.

Because of his teaching roots he can also be pretty empathetic when he has to be.

Specifically in this au, when he pissed off the government with his ideas, they took him in and ran experiments on him to see if humans could fly with bird wings, he tried to tell them it wouldn't work, but they needed to make sure it didn't.

Which is why Grace now has wings, that are almost completely worthless, besides being used as another way to express emotion or change direction when in zero gravity.

This is another reason why he hates humankind, because they did this to him for no reason.

(Rocky thinks it's cool that he's special tho :3)

But after they realized their experiments where bad and they couldn't get humans to fly, they allowed Grace to work as a scientist, and eventually decided to send him out on that mission with the two other people.

Although, because of waking up with two corpses, he does tend to be pretty protective of the people he cares about.

Although he doesn't like to be touched.

This isn't necessarily a trauma thing, it's just his family never really hugged him, nor did he grow up with a lot of friends, so he's simply not used to it, and kinda finds it gross 

And now, time for my list of sexualitys and why :3

genderqueer/bigender: he's never really understood his gender, and never really has internally thought of himself as anything in particular, simply just as Grace, but not no gender, kinda like a mix

genderfluid: his presentation of himself usually fluctuates, and so does how he sees himself:3

-aroace-flux: although he doesn't usually feel sexual or romantic attraction, it can fluxuate (specifically the romantic part)

-queerplatonic: this just really fits him, like a lot, 

-asexual (sex repulsed): he hates the idea of sex, having sex, or even witnesses anything sexual.

He also hates sexual jokes.

He's not sure why he hates it so much, he just does.

AND HES GAY, MLM, HE LIKES MEN. but I had to give him a label, so he's Androromantic, basically likes people who are masculine,,, somtimes.

It takes Grace a very long time to come to come to terms with himself, not necessarily because he's homophobic, he just grew up around a lot of closed minded people and he never thought he could be like that.

He also pretty much disowned the name Ryland, because it reminded him too much of humanity, so he prefers to be called grace by everyone.

He has a fight and flee reflex, as he will lash out when he is scared and run away if possible.

He is very explosive when something goes wrong, and tends to vent his frustrations immediately.

He's not very good at hiding his emotions.

Okay okay, Simon time!

Simon was sent on a spaceship because his parents where astronauts, and they were sent to try and see if they could live in space.

So yeah, Simon grew up on Eden, a spaceship with a tree on it.

This tree eventually became the last known of tree when the earth blew up lmao

Although Eden was a cult, and a horrible environment for a child to grow up in.

You where either bullying or being bullied, and Simon started out as being bullied, 

He's not mad by nature, Simon is very empathetic and kind. And is usually super soft-spoken.

But when they finally got on his nerves, he snapped.

And then he became a bully.

This destroyed his self-esteem, as he thought he had to be a monster to survive

So yeah, a lot of self hatred.

He is also very aloof, and gulable, and very apologetic.

He still blames himself for everything.

And because he got into the wrong crowd, he was convicted to pull "a harmless prank" which caused the spaceship to caught on fire 

He somehow escaped, but looking back on it, he now thinks he should have died there.

He's also very emotional, but tends to mask it a lot.

Whenever hes stressed, or too angry, his mask falls and you can see he cries a bunch.

But besides that, he acts pretty happy.

Oh yeah, and the hallucinations. He halusionates a lot, and had a lot of flashbacks and panic attacks.

And is absolutely terrified of loud noise or sudden movements.

He also has a lot of cognitive disonants, specifically with trusting people. He has really bad trust issues, but with Simon, he is inclided to trust him because he saved him.

He gets really attached to others and attached to things.

For example, he still carries his planet pendant around, and really likes Grace despite him not being very reciprocative.

Simons reaction to fear is usually to freeze.

This makes him not the best survivalist.

But yeah, he's also socially awkward, but doesn't have the bonus of hight self-esteem that Grace does.

He also lets his emotions build, oftentimes not causing an outbursts until he's at his breaking point.

And now here are his sexualitys.:3:

-Gendervoid: he doesn't really see himself as any gender, like he doesn't really care enough to have a strong gender expression.

genderfawn: although he doesn't have a strong gender identity, it usually fluxuates on the masc spectrum.

-transmasc(fully transitioned): his body anatomy is all ftm, why? Cuz I thought it would be cool :3

-aegosexual: he's not discusted by sex, but doesn't personally has any desires to engage in sexual activities with others.

orchidsexual: despite the fact he doesn't have any interest in sex, he can still be "turned on" although he doesn't act on it,

demiromantic: unlike every other part of grace and Simons sexualitys, his demiromanticness is because of trauma. It really takes him a lot time to feel romance to others, it just takes a very short time to connect with someone.

-panromantic: he has always never cared about the gender of whoever he likes, it's the way it is in his eyes.

-omnisexual: the people he finds sexual attraction too is usually people who are masc or nb

Simon has completely come to terms with all of this. And he doesn't really care.

The C.O.I actually experimented on Simon, which gave him his gills by combining his DNA with fish DNA

So when the blood ocean did it's funny thing it just activated his genes, mutating him into a more fish-like being.
