anyways, this is going to be very repetitive (sorry, i've been obsessing). i'm just going to go off of what my lastfm says for most listened to. here are my 5 songs:
okay- starting off strong here. something about the way they hold a conversation is so satisfying. AND THE STORY-TELLING. Leslie Odom Jr. just HAS THAT VOICE, i don't know how to describe it. plus, Thomas Jefferson mention. i love how the tension kind of builds up before the bridge too. my FAVOURITE part is "My God, in God we trust" etc etc... and the choreography from that part on is CHEF KISS. and, the tension between Hamilton and Burr begins to grow too.
hah. HAHA. okay. unfortunately, Thomas Jefferson is my favourite character from Hamilton. Daveed Diggs' portrayal of him, specifically the feud he and Hamilton had, is just so iconic. back to the song though, it's such a funny and iconic character introduction. it's TOTALLY an entrance song, for a character that's going to save the day (?) at least that's what it feels like. ALSO OMG I LOVE JAMES MADISON'S PART--- the melody is so satisfying to the ears. also, the bass is super funky. this song just shows that Jefferson knows he's important.

okay this is the very first song i heard from the soundtrack (i think), and i STILL LOVE IT. my family likes i too. this song is PEAK narcissism, and it sounds good too. Jonathan Groff KNEW what he was doing and he did it well. he just has such a good voice, and once again, the melody is satisfying. plus, it's super upbeat and makes you forget about the lyrics lol
THIS SONG IS SO SMART I LOVE THAT IT IS INDECISIVE TO ITS VERY CORE. you can FEEL an envy(?) from Burr by the end of this song.

to be honest, i don't really know why i've listened to this one so much lmao maybe for Daveed??? i mean, "...don't act surprised, you guys, 'cause i wrote them OWWWW" is just so sick. maybe i like it because it's Jefferson vs. Hamilton?? it's entertaining lol
