not to be greedy and impatient but @mieaya, second series when?? next week?
I'm gonna be honest, I think that most of the underrated and less known GL series are actually some of the best ones?
Love Beyond Dreams
Heart Code
Queendom
Clairebell
Shades
Please, if you haven't watched them yet, you need to put them on your watch list! They have it all; the story, the chemistry, the visuals, etc

absolutely astound by how amazing Love Beyond Dreams was ππ
from start to finish they delievered a masterpiece, starting strong with such an interesting and intriguing start and ending the series just as strong, with a solid and though-out ending.
stellar performance from mie and aya, with sizzling chemistry that literally draws you into the couple, and such great side characters that not a single one felt out of place or unnecessary.
brilliant work on wrapping up the story in 7 episodes and as much as i would die for more, i do think they really said everything that needed to be said in those 7eps and wrapped it up neatly. and props to whomever said, "yeah lene won't give a flying fuck about her awful dad dying" 'cause that was A CHOICE and i fuck with it πππ so many series backtrack on that and make characters mourn their awful parents but LBD said "yeah no, fuck that" and mad respect for that π
yeah, absolute 10/10 on this for me, no notes, it was an amazing ride and an absolute pleasure to drive the clown car π
Important lessons I have learned from each Thai GL I have watched so far
Gap : Commit workplace harassment
TSOU : When you're making up with someone, avoid explaning the situation at all cost
Blank : If it's legal...It's legal. Don't be annoying.
Affair : Levi-Strauss was wrong about incest
Pluto : Lie and deceive, good things will come out of it. Alternatively, consider tattooing your twins' names on their forehead to avoid any drama
MMDIY : Nepal cures depression
Show me love : Don't underestimate the importance of a good editor
TLP : You can pout your way into legalizing homosexuality
Us : Don't be born into a family. Don't be born outside of a family either.
Love Bully : Watch the content before naming it
Apple s1 : consider implementing trust in your relationships
Apple s2 : consider not making a season 2
23.5 : Don't put any hope into GMMTV
Mate : Fear Chao Planoy
Petrichor : ACAB (you know Tul and Ran would agree with me)
SWSH : Loyalty and love will get you nowhere if you don't also have a meddling best-friend
Queendom : Levi-Strauss was wrong about selfcest. (I'm being told he never wrote about selfcest...)
Harmony Secret : Eat the rich
Only you : Don't underestimate narrative cohesion
Reverse 4 you : Knowing the future sucks
roller coaster : do abstract art (NEVER do portraits)
GENERAL LESSON : Always apologize, especially when you did nothing wrong.
people become so beautiful when you love them. do y'all know about this

im going to fix my entire life
When?
Like Um. later
if you're not watching Love Beyond Dreams, what are you waiting for?
seriously, this series has not been talked about enough and that's such a shame because it's absolutely phenomenal! it has been one of those series i've been completely mesmerized with since the pilot and it has not disappointed - in fact, it has exceeded all my expectations π₯Ή
as a first gl from Me Mind Y, it has everything:
a well-written and engaging script that keeps you on your toes while weaving through beloved tropes (such as best friends to strangers to lovers, time reversal, threads of fate, the grumpy one & the sunshine one, etc.)
complex and interesting lead characters that can make you cry just as easily as they can have you giggling and kicking your feet
immaculate chemistry between the lead actresses (Mie Phattaranan and Aya Orapan) - genuinely, they're such a great pair and these characters fit them so well
great acting from the whole cast; i honestly cannot think of a single "weak" link in the cast - everyone is doing an amazing job and the acting has been stellar (from the comic relief side characters to the main cp, everyone's performance has been absolutely brilliant)
a gorgeous ost (aya's an extremely talented singer and her song has been on repeat on my playlist ever since they released it)
much like Heart Code, the series only has 7 episodes AND THAT'S ABSOLUTELY DEVASTATING π we're already five eps in, so if you're gonna catch up, now is probably the best time, but strap in (no pun intended), it's gonna be a ride.
Synopsis: Twenty-one-year-old fresh graduate Aran had always believed her relationship with Lene, who is two years older, was more than just a sibling-like bond, until she received the cruelest rejection she could ever have imagined. In the end, she can only embrace her pain and fly abroad to continue her studies, hoping that one day she will be able to forget Lene. Then one day, a mysterious package arrives along with a handwritten letter. There is no name, but Aran recognizes the handwriting instantly. She decides to fly back to Thailand, determined to finally close this unresolved chapter. The moment she arrives, however, she is met with devastating news: Lene is dead. Ran can only carry her shattered heart to Lene's funeral, where she is forced to confront a truth that breaks her completely. Just as she's about to say her final goodbye, she overhears a conversation suggesting that Lene's death may have been caused by someone close to her. When she wakes up five years in the past, to the moments after her rejection, red thread from the funeral still in hand, she tells herself this time will be different. This time, she will be the one to protect Lene.
i tried to keep this post as short as i could so i've actually left out so many more great things i could say about it, but if you're looking for a recommendation on your next thai gl, i wholeheartedly propose you give this one a chance.
oh and, there's also a clown car that i've been driving around 'cause we have theories so feel free to jump in (there's always more room!) π
that feeling when you finally give in and make exhaling an art form
