I'm new to this hobby and after spending so many years admiring the dolls before buying my own, after spending so much time reading wank over petty things like popularity wars, after reading comments both good and bad about doll owners and admirers alike, I would like to personally give a shout out to the wonderful people I have met through my Instagram account that have made me feel so damn welcome in this hobby. I was so worried about posting things because I thought people would hate me on principal - that I was new. No, I'm not the best photographer, no, I'm not rich and have to use my tip money to buy cheaper clothes and accessories, and yes, I take a lot of love in people's OCs and creativity and try to reflect that in my own doll. I love the stories you tell, I love meeting your dolls through every picture you post and I adore knowing that you love your dolls enough to give them such fantastically diverse histories and personalities because as a writer, these are the qualities I admire in fellow artists. Passion. So to everyone I've talked to, no matter in depth or in passing, thank you. How you treat somebody like me, brand new with the massive insecurities about this hobby, tells me everything I need to know about you. You're fantastic people.

I just want to hug people who do the packaging for BJD companies. I love the extra things they give you like little pouches with extra parts,a card with a beautiful picture of the sculpt,one company gave me a bookmark with a picture of a doll on it. I love that.
