1: TESSJOEL: holy peakness, i love them sm. not my total fav but they’re soooo good. their buzz is crazy, ESP in the show (one of the only things it did right…) and idk i just love them down!! solid 8/10
2: ELLIERILEY: ADORBS YAYAYAY. left behind is lowk always on background noise for me i love them so bad. in context i think that riley is top 5 saddest tlou deaths for me :( she’s just a baby i love her so much. her and ellie were adorbs and something about young queer girls exploring what that means for them will ALWAYS do it for me they’re so precious… 9/10
3: DELLIE: aka my goats OAT. they’re so messy i love them so much. i kinda wished they were worse?? in the sense?? seattle day 1 would be so nothing burger if not for their banter. unforch i do believe they were doomed from the start and the farm chapter truly proves they wouldn’t be able to create a happy life, and as much as i want it, i can’t see them getting back together in the third game😕😕 a lot of people hate ellie for being an asshole or hate dina for being “needy”, but i think if you look at it either way you’re immature and didn’t really understand the point of their characters LMAO… yes ellie was struggling with insane ptsd and didn’t have any emotional energy to give, and dina was also struggling and deserved better. both things can be true!! i just love them so much though, i could talk forever on them… so messy, so good, just a 100000/10. ALSO hbo fucked them over INSANELY. just had to throw that in, hbo dellie is nowhere near real dellie. they legit made ocs with them i cant😭
4: ELLIECAT: (???) i wanted more of them. whenever i write fics centering ellie, joel, or jackson as a whole, i always make sure to put them in there in some capacity. again, young queer girls learning what queerness means always works for me. 6/10 just for lack of content!
5: ELLABS: donttttt kill me guys… immediately no. i just can’t get behind it, i think abby is lowk straight😭😭😭 i can’t see her as gay (unless involving me) and idk! i like them as enemies better. i really tried to like them trust i just kinda. hate them. idk😭😭 0/10
6: ABBYOWEN: ok fire fire fire! i love how messy they are. i love a good second chance romance (if it’s able to work…) and i love good tension, which they have LOTS of. again don’t kill me i do think abby loved owen a lot, and a lot of the arguments i see for her not liking him is that “she was mean to him” and acted like she didn’t want him around. first off, i think it’s reasonable to say i can give her some grace for one of the most stressful 3-day periods of her life😭😭 and she very clearly loved him, as evident in santa barbara where we see her writing him letters about how much she misses him. idk young them also has a lot of potential, i love them bad!!! do i wish it didn’t involve cheating with mel?? for sure 😕😕😕😕😕 but solid 10/10!
7: ABBYMANNY: …okay. so. in my head they are the bestest friends ever. do i think they are? yes. do i think they’ve hooked up? also yes. i think they got bored some nights in the wlf and just started making out sometimes, and idk, a “this won’t happen again. (keeps happening” always works for me😭 i like them as friends a lot more though… solid 4/10. but i stand by my hc.
8: ABBYNORA: okay sooo i know i said abby is straight to me and i still stand by that. i love their friendship but i will say that handcuff removal scene?? solid 2/10 ship for me just because of that tension ty!!! mwah no notes
9: ABBYMEL: lowk makes me want abby to not be straight. i kinda love them just for the ex-bsf thing??😭 they’re buzzy to me idk!!! i do however view them strictly through an ex-best friend lens unless i force myself into the view of abbymel but it’s SO GOOD when i do. idk she’s my only break for straight abby… 3/10
