Trying to save face and hold everyone accountable even though they are missing key players vs throwing people under the bus.

Awak was huge for us these last couple of games. You can say that.

Has she been the most consistent? No.

But can you acknowledge when someone played right and did well during a game? Yes.

Points-in-paint: DAL: 36 IND: 50 Fastbreak: DAL: 7 IND: 13 In the third quarter, we outscored them (even though it was only by one point), and for most of the third qrt, Arike sat out. You had Sug, who is better defensively available for this game, and you still chose not to play her.

The spacing was an issue the entire game, again.

Let me say that again: 37 minutes.

I do commend Steph for making adjustments and involving Mitchell, because that changed the game for them.

I will also say that the refs were absolutely atrocious. I cannot believe that foul on AC was not overturned; that fourth-quarter officiating was absolutely hideous.

But you can really see that in this game in particular, we really, really, really missed Shep in the paint. We missed Azzi to guard Kelsey and to be able to stretch the floor.

At some point, the ball stopped moving again (thank you Rik iso ball), and the whole thing went stagnant. We cannot rely on driving and foul baiting to get us to win games.
