I just finished my newest painting using a new technique I'm trying out! I am cutting and layering matte board to create subtle depth.

This is my third piece I made using this technique and its probably my favorite! <3 Though I think i'm finally ready to start working a little larger because painting those tiny leaves almost drove me mad lol.

This was my first time using chalk to make a mural! It's a little fussy to work with, but the blending process is so nice! I still think I prefer using acrylic though 😅 - I included a process photo so you can see how it began
