As a Canadian citizen, I want to keep my home and my friends and my family safe and free.
As an American, I believe in honouring our NATO commitments.
If the US starts a war with Canada (which an attack on Greenland, a part of Denmark and thus NATO, would also be), I will fight in Canada's defense.

With PlayStation’s announcement that they will cease production of physical discs in 2028, I sure would love it if the gaming community would tap in to the general strike. Pretty sure I read both PS and Xbox have future models planned without disc drives at all. Storage cost is through the roof and now they’re taking away the ability to buy secondhand or share games with friends.

US General Strike
If you live in the United States, you should know that there's a pretty respectably large group planning a general strike in the US at the moment to demand various progressive policies and reforms in the country, including the abolition of ICE, ending financial/military support for Israel, the repeal of Citizens United, universal healthcare, and more.
A general strike is probably just about the only thing that the people of the US can realistically do to force their government to meaningfully change. Regular protests like those "No Kings" displays won't do fuck all, uncoordinated violence won't accomplish anything either, and some kind of mass revolutionary uprising is an impossible pipe dream.
But a strike? That's fucking with the money. They can't ignore that, and if it comes with a list of specific demands, there's a real chance at least some of those demands get met.

And now workers have seized control of an oil field in Santa Cruz, shutting down production. if you're wondering why 24 hour strikes and week long consumer boycotts don't achieve anything, it's because they don't put any actual pressure on capital. the Bolivians are showing us how to inflict sustained losses on business. it's still a long way from taking political control out of the hands of capitalists and putting into the workers, but it's how you actually operate if you want to win concessions. in fact, their state has already offered concessions but the workers and peasants are demanding more
