Can i say it? Will moots un follow me if I do? I kinda feel like only calling Gerard she/her is undermining non binary people and their choice to identify with masculine and feminine ideas. Yes Gerard is incredibly open about their feminine side but still recently and frequently uses masculine language for himself and has never expressed a single issue with being called a man. And I don't think Gerard is secretly a trans woman. I think Gerard's an openly gender non conforming person who's identity is just as fluid as their music and style. And I know most people are just having fun but I have to admit that sometimes people refusing to use anything but she/her for Gerard and insisting they are really a woman kinda bothers me. I'm not going to hunt anymore down over it but like would it kill you to admit Gerard can also still identify in some way with being a man? But also with women or both or neither? It just feels like people don't want to respect people who don't traditionally fit into any category. I mean Gerard literally said he doesn't like labels and I think they're onto something there.
