For a moment, Riley felt his chest constricting. The breaths he tried to take never really filled his lungs, leaving him gasping for a deep, calming one. The sight in front of him meshed into all sorts of blurs in every shade of color possible. With each passing second, he found that it was getting difficult to make out distinguishable figures. He wanted to make sense of what he was seeing but the information processing center in his brain was already working on overdrive. He couldn’t even tell if the buzzing in his head stemmed from the sickening mix of colors or Ren’s worried energy.
He began to feel rather lightheaded, which was definitely not good–

As they eared the bench, the other sat down in a heap, sighing and putting his head between his knees to help ease some of what he had been feeling. Flint hovered above, just a tad to insure he was fine. After seeing his expression in that crowd- ‘It was almost like he was scared to death or something..’ he thought to himself.
After a while, Riley began to feel better enough to sit up, and smile at him. “I would’ve been in trouble if it wasn’t for you.” Flint smiled, albiet smaller than his usual, and looked a little uncomfortable at the notion of him saving anyone. “Nah, I was just doing what anyone would in that sorta situation... you’re welcome though.”
“I gotta ask though, why you looked so scared-” he paused, thinking over something.
“I mean, you don’t have to tell me, but there’s this ramen shop just near here that’s pretty calm and quiet. I’m pretty hungry, the grass is green and it’s sunny out.” Flint held out his hand to his new found friend, f he could be called that.
“So if you’re feeling it, let’s go?”
