Spiteful Millennial

TFW your usual confidants are all super self-satisfied with this relationship they set you up for, which makes it hard to tell them that you want out of that relationship and are still in love with the person they scoffed about and said wasn’t good enough for you.

I’m kind of a romantic, which is an unfortunate trait for an unattractive person such as myself.

I hate when “I don’t have time” turns out to mean “I don’t have time for you.”

Oh.  My.  God.  I’ve been back in school for like a month and a half and already I’ve had petty bureaucrats show up to appointments forty five minutes late, I’ve had repeated failures of online systems to actually register me for classes or log my work hours or show me housing information, I’ve waited for days to hear back from supervisors and interviewers about jobs, and I’ve rushed to get assignments in under deadlines only to have professors repeatedly put off grading them.  That’s all just stuff through my university, not counting bullshit with my apartment, utilities companies, deliveries, etc.  For fuck’s sake, people, get your shit together.

Instead of using the term “volunteer opportunity,” consider using the term “I want you to work for free.”

If you won’t tell potential employees what sort of pay you’re offering, you can go fuck yourself.  

Nothing good ever happens.

I don’t know how many more times my parents are gonna insist on giving me advice that runs directly counter to the requests of hiring managers before they finally shut.  The hell.  Up.

TFW someone suggests you attend an event at your old high school and you start to panic at the thought of ever returning to that place.

Hey, fun fact:  You don’t have to put longwinded lists of demands and dealbreakers on your OkCupid profile, because you’ll only be able to interact with people you have liked back, so you can just calmly and quietly pass on people without spending a bunch of time explaining to the entire internet how much you dislike this, that, or the other kind of person.
