lucky number seven // valentineâs event
enrubannerâ:
she wasnât usually such a wallflower when it came to these things, the idolâs persona easily taking over and leading her through⌠whatever it was that needed to be done. but not this time. the persona had to be locked away, for it was fakeâ not totally, but enough that sheâd rather not have her prospective partner expect that behavior all the time.    theyâd get the REAL alice.    still though, deep down she regrets making this bargain with her sibling. it wouldnât shock her if someone had signed up just for the chance alone at getting paired with her. the last thing alice wanted ( or needed ) was to ââ date ââ someone who was more interested in being in the spotlight than⌠being with her.    churro stands beside her as he always does, his own eyes glaring around and trying to get an idea of how many people there were. so far, none of them really looked to be familiar, but then again there were still people trickling in.    â well⌠what should we do ? i donât mind staying back for now⌠maybe weâll get lucky and theyâll find me instead of the other way around ? someoneâs bound to ask EVENTUALLY since weâre all here for the same reason. â    maybe itâd of been easier for her to just pin a number seven somewhere on her outfit.
In truth, she had entered this more on a whim then anything else. She would admit, she didnât socialize as she probably should. She spoke to the dead more then the living, and even Ziarae could realize that likely wasnât the greatest for her. As much as she liked her time spent in such a manner, she should go out more. Speak with others, expand her views in that way.Â
For similar reasons she brought along Toby, the little Cutiefly sticking closeby. He had gotten a bit better being around others, but his tiny body still trembled around so many. She was hoping something like this could help him start break that fear down so he could be more open. She kept a close eye on him, but when she had turned away momentarily ( someone yelling out a number, trying to find their partner ) he had flown off.Â
â Toby? â she called out, worry overtaking her features. Did that scare him off? Poor dear. Maybe she shouldnât have brought him along, maybe it would be too much for him. More thoughts raced in her head, but thankfully it didnât take too long to find him. He hovered over an Incineroar and itâs trainer. Relief flooded her as her steps picked up the pace, giving a warm smile. â Iâm sorry, I hope he didnât trouble you. â
