It was not your fault but mine.

            And it was your heart on the line..

                                      I really fucked it up this time...

                                                          Didn’t I my dear?... Didn’t I my dear.

“I’m not busy. Far from it, actually.” A mutter of You’re purifying things, Rose, so you’re busy came from Edna, but she ignored the seraph in favor of talking with this stranger.

“So, what? You lost? I can help ya find your way back, if that’s the case.”

What a strangely-dressed boy. “Hey. You need somethin’?”

Emil sat in the center of the boat as it rolled over the waves and caused his stomach to churn. He wasn’t typically one for motion sickness, as he could handle carriages and what have you. Today, however, was a struggle.  It was possibly due to the fact he had eaten a relatively large meal before departure.

He insisted that if he stayed in the center of the boat, he would coax himself away from the need to throw up over the side. He would cringe as it would say too far one side before bobbing back. What he was destracting himself with was looking at a girl with black long hair and a.... pretty revealing outfit. However, he wasn’t looking at her weird aesthetic taste in fashion, he was focused on her face. He mused to himself what could possibly be on her mind with stern features like hers. In a way.. She looked like a hawk to Emil. One that had yet to devour it’s prey. He kind’a admired it in a way as he felt he could never appear like that even if he tried. He tilted his head off to the side, ahoge bobbing along and kept his steady green hues on her.  

Emil is active af. But has no drafts to do. Where the mun is tired, but hungry.

 “Oui, monsieur!” The knight nodded in response. “I am fine, but the beasts I encountered may not be able to say that.” Tacked with a chuckle. “I am a knight, but not of this… area, however. It is far away from here. Which is why I am lost. Please, kind sir, would you guide me to the nearest town?”

Emil smiled “Well if you’re alright, then that’s good” he didn’t like to see people get hurt by the monsters... especially since he supposedly made them. He gestured for the knight to follow him, happy to be of help in showing the other the nearest town location.

 “…” He was merely watching the sun dip down into the horizon, his mind drifting from one thought to the next. But the area was… calming, quiet even. There were little sounds that came other than the rustle of leaves and the movement of the native animals and monsters. That had changed when he heard footsteps and sensed another’s presence not too far away. Ratatosk turned his head to see the other blond and smiled just a little in seeing Emil there.

 “Yes? Is there something you need, Emil?” The elder of the two spoke softly and rose one eyebrow, curious as to know what brought the other here.

Emil stared slightly at the other being there. Not too used to or familiar with Ratatosk simply sitting there watching the sunset. However... It wasn’t an unwelcomed idea that Ratatosk too could sit and enjoy a sunset. Emil smiled slightly and shook his head.
