Sakura Sensei
Kakashi found Sakura waiting for him at the bridge she asked him to meet her at. She was in uniform, so proud to be a jounin. Sakura had signed up to become the sensei of her very own team. She was so excited. Kakashi could see how her face beamed with the brightest smile. As he approached her she ran up to him and immediately clung to his arm. "I'm so glad you came. You had me wondering if you where going to be late." "What did you want to talk to me about? Is anything wrong?" "Nope, nothings wrong. I just wanted you to take a look at my plans. I wrote out a chart of everything I need to teach my new team. Read it and tell me what you think of it."
He took the clip board from her and started reading the list. Apparently she had 4 years worth of training planned out. It slightly surprised him. He knew she had the dedication to carry out the agenda. She also had the will of fire deep inside her to stay motivated. Looking over her plans really wasn't necessary. Kakashi felt that Sakura just wanted to share her happiness with some one.
"It looks like you have everything in order. It's a fine plan. Here." He handed her back the clip board. "You don't need me anymore." Kakashi gave Sakura a sad expression. He was loosing his little kunoichi. She was all grown up and making big decisions for herself. "Don't say that Kakashi Sensei. I'm always going to need your advice no matter what. " He shook his head at her in disagreement. "There's only so much I can tell you that you don't already know for yourself." "That's not true. I need you to teach me how to raise a team. Won't you give me some advice right now." She urged him to talk to her. He had all this experience raising them there was plenty she could learn from him .
"I promise, you won't always know what to do the moment things get out of control. " he warned her. "But they will obey you if you keep up the disguise that you are their friend and ally." Sakura was taken back by his words. "You mean you where only pretending to be our friend." He gave her a slight nod. "I never wanted the responsibility. Still I had the duty to continue our lineage. I put up with it until the 4 of us felt like a family." turning his blind side to her Kakashi shrugged carelessly. "It takes time to get familiar with children. They tend to hide their true nature from you ... remember." Thoughts swirled back to some of the moments where Sakura straight out lied to Kakashi about her feelings. It was always because she didn't want to appear weak and she wouldn't allow herself to be a burden to him. "I understand Sensei. Thank you." Sakura reached out to touch his shoulder.
"I remember the day I knew we finally became a family. I had everyone eating out of my hand. We were just that comfortable with each other." He turned back to meet gazes with her. "I'm not going to lie to you. Getting there took forever. With each passing day, I was late on purpose. I hated teaching 2 boy who where arrogant and I admit I didn't know how to raise a girl." He took her hand in his. "I still have many regrets. I wish I could do things better and have a second chance." Sakura spoke up. "I wish I could give you that second chance but the most I can do is ask you to join us for training some time. What do you say?" Kakashi let out a sigh knowing she had good intention. "I don't want to end up taking your team away from you while trying to help you raise them." surprise spread across her features. "I don't want them disregarding you because they respect me more than you. Children are impressionable that way." Sakura frowned at Kakashi. "I still want you to meet them." There was an urgency in her voice. She wanted to share the joy with him, if only he would let her. "Alright, I will meet them eventually. Some time after they've gotten to know you." Sakura beamed her smile at him.
"Good, I know just the time to have you come join us." He chuckled at her as she looked through her written plans. She had herself all figured out. He would come join them a month after she began training with them. The children having two Sensei to learn from would be very beneficial. It would also allow Kakashi to feel useful once again.
