Spideypool Week: Day 4 - Dress Up

Notes: This is a day late because I wasn’t able to post it yesterday. Wade isn’t in his suit but he’s wearing a red and black hoodie.

Takes place in 2015.

Summary: Wade finds a photo booth complete with costumes and props inside.

Peter honestly doesn’t know what else he expected on a first date.

#Spideypool Week, Day 5: Angst. 

Spideypool Week: Day 3 Day with Team (Avengers + Darcy) Peter brings his camera and takes photos whenever he’s not getting lessons from Tony. And Deadpool drinks.

Day with Avengers: or the one where Wade decides to write Spidey some poetry, (because romance is important, duh, even boxes know that) but wants some opinions on it first.

dedicated to deadpooloclock​ (bc she gave me virtual cupcakes ^.^) and megadere (bc she spurred on the fluff and kept it away from angst XD)

There’s something about being woken prematurely at the crack of dawn that leaves a sense of bitter resentment in Peter’s mouth.  He settles on equating it with morning breath. The most unsatisfying of morning breaths, because this particular morning Peter was supposed to be sleeping in. And he would have been, if not for the eager attempts of one Wade Wilson to rouse him before the sun has even graced the sky.

“Mhh … stop it, Wade … ” he mumbles into his pillow.

“But Petey!” Wade whines, so high pitched it makes Peter’s skin crawl. “This is our only day off together!”

“Exactly. And I would seriously appreciate to spend my day off sleeping in.”

He settles deeper into his blankets, praying to all the known deities that Wade will for once listen to him. Silence overtakes the room, and Peter releases the breath he’s been holding, allowing the tension to ease out of his muscles. He relaxes, drifting back to sleep.

Suddenly Peter’s flipped over, the breath effectively knocked out of him, and Wade plops himself atop his stomach, looking down at Peter with an annoyingly pitiful expression.

“Goddammit, Wade!”

The first day of the school year was always somewhat hectic, but it seemed to be much more so for the freshman grad students. At least, for some of them.

Others, of the loud and obnoxious variety, paraded the campus grounds with thrilling and undoubtedly false tales of how their undergrad research lined up with the likes of Nobel Prize winners.

Peter remembered his first day of grad school.

It was uneventful, save for being sick throughout the main “freshman breaking” events.

Luckily, his school didn’t pride themselves too much on humiliating their new students. Well, maybe just a bit. But Peter didn’t feel that his initiation was any worse than his undergrad. And it most definitely did not compare to the entirety of his high school career.

SPIDEYPOOL WEEK - DAY 7:

Commitment: “Petey,” Wade stops in his track, uncertain and afraid. “Pete, just… Petey, I don’t think I should go with you,” he blurts out quickly, pointedly not looking at the man in front of him, who still holds his hand in his. Now squezing it gently. This is not the first time Wade is bringing this up, and he was not successful with his arguments so far, but maybe this time…

“Wade. Hey, Wade? Look at me,” he prompts gently, free hand suddenly on Wade’s chin, pushing his face up. The big brown eyes looks at him as soft and tender as always. “It’s gonna be fine. Promise.”

Spideypool Week Day 7: Commitment

I thought I should go with something not soooo serious and I’m mostly pleased with the result. (Drawing unmasked Wade and Petey always give me such an awkward feeling afterwards, idek why.)

This has been fun; I’ve really enjoyed participating in Spideypool Week for the first time. I’m definitely doing it again for years to come.

Summary: Peter’s still pretty iffy about being with Wade, even though they’re kinda-sorta-absolutely-definitely-don’t-listen-to-Peter dating. So Wade tries to fix that in the best way possible.

With a Muppets marathon.
