yesterday’s meals and what I thought about them:

avocado toast and tea - the avocado itself was so disgusting literally rock solid it was not ripe AT ALL. however, those little tomatoes on top were so delicious so i just ate those and picked at the rest. the tea was great tho, i love an earl gray. worked out for the best though because what could’ve been a 250 cal breakfast became about 20. 
rice cakes with 2% fat cottage cheese - one of my favorite snacks/meals. I seasoned with just salt and poppy seeds on one and then about a half a tablespoon of balsamic glaze on the other. ended up only eating the balsamic one.
crispy artichokes and nouveau basilic - I had an early little dinner by myself. the artichokes were not what I expected at all, I thought they’d be baked maybe a few breadcrumbs or something, but it came out as this fried puck looking thing that was wayyy too greasy. luckily, the bev turned it all around. I tried this fancy sounding cocktail nouveau basilic, and it’s basically dry gin, cucumber, basil, and sparkling water and ohmygod it’s my favorite thing I’ve had this year. i got 3 of them and ate about 1/3 of the artichoke dish. oh, also had one and a half slices of bread and butter
