Nothing is more confusing than being a drug addict. We do drugs and feel bad about it so we do more drugs….

Just after I pulled the plunger something very weird happened; basically I had the pins and needles sensation at the bottom of my face, also on my lower lip. The feeling slowly grew, getting stronger by the minute. I got scared while the sensation spread to the top of my chest. At one moment I thought I was about to have some sort of aneurysm! This whole crazy feeling reached its peak and for a while it looked like it was not getting any better. After some time, the intensity eventually started to fade; I was sitting on the toilet staring at the ceiling without actually seeing it. That was some crazy trip for sure.

Psychological addiction is less about nebulous "willpower" and more about your level of general fulfillment and social interconnection/engagement.

And always 'wow i'm x weeks sober, the dope will hit soooo good next time.'
