SPIDER / GIRL

            “  Well,  I don’t mind listening if you’re willing to tell me your story.  ”   She moves to sit promptly down at the closest table,  resting her chin in her hands as brown eyes eagerly await the telling of a story.

           “  Oh,  that’s ----- that’s not what I meant at all.  God ...  ”   Fumbling over her own words for a moment,  she shakes her head and holds her hands up,  palms out.     “  I meant more like you’re not a civilian.  Are you friend or foe ?  ”

          “  Well,  yeah.   That’s because you’re a giant talking robot.  ”   All manner of joking aside,  she lets her gesturing hands fall back down to its resting spot by her sides.   She had no room to talk about oddities,  though.   She was bitten by a super spider,  after all.    “  So..  what’s your name ?  ”

            “  It’s not that weird looking !   Haven’t you ever heard of parkour ?  Or practice,  for that matter ?  ”
