it explains why she talks in these moments of silence. nothing inane, really, but she is clearly still trying to suss him out, and alucard has just slightly more on his mind. better to nip this in the bud quickly, then ━━ while they’re still a roof-top away and she can make the safe decision to leave.

at first , it’s a silent, familiar gesture : a share of food is edges from his serving onto hers. in truth, it’s almost completely purely on muscle memory from years of sharing with now lost, younger siblings. ah ! it seems she’s caught him red handed ; he offers a bright grin. ❛ you have to eat to make sure you get even stronger ! ❜ / @pnkfox liked !

scott loves wearing superhero merch, and in fact 90% of his wardrobe ( a conservative estimate ) consists of hero-themed tshirts, including all of the batfamily’s. the moment he finds out tiff is operating and he doesn’t have a pink batgirl shirt, you can bet he’s going to go out and find one, and if he can’t find it, then he’ll find a way to make it. pink is one of his favourite colours and he says it brings out his eyes, so he’d absolutely love to wear a pink batgirl shirt, and it probably becomes one of his favourites. he definitely wears it around tiff too, to see her smile.
also as a quick added bonus, like he does to all younger heroes, he’ll offer to help her train her at how to get out of most bindings : handcuffs, ropes, zipties, all the standard bad guy tying-up equipment. just in case she ever gets caught in a sticky situation.
