So it had come to this.

Braig—no, Luxu now, yes—had done all that he could do stave the inevitable. Tried to keep his distance as all of his carefully-laid plans had fallen into place, like a diabolical puppet master offstage controlling his little dolls on their invisible strings. Everything with Eraqus and Xehanort, Ventus and Vanitas, and Terra—events were nudging assuredly along as Luxu had hoped they would, and though he did not have the Book in his own hands, he would would take as much as he could into them, if only to imagine having control.

But there remained one last obstacle—one final thread that needed to be plucked from the web he had weaved, and yet had been unable to do so thus far.
