Beware of Mouse

Okay so.

It all started when I was looking at rouxls kaard. Specifically speaking his normal sprite. At first, I was glancing casually, but then I noticed a little detail.

Namely that his suit jacket wasn't symmetrical like I'd seen it in so much fanart. "odd" I thought.

But then I looked closer.

He didn't have dividing lines anywhere on his arms to signify sleeves or gloves, nor on his legs to signify pants or boots.

And because his skin is in fact the same color as his clothes, for a moment,

a vision appeared to me.

I then laughed.

"Haha how weird. What a funny quirk of this sprite to be subject to interpretation that way" I said to myself. "But only natural, since it doesn't have the detail of his shop sprite people presumably got his outfit from."

I could have just left it at that (I wish I had just left it at that) but my curiosity overcame me, so I decided to quickly check his shop sprite.

IT DIDN'T HAVE ANY DIVIDING LINES EITHER.

It was then that I feared we had all made a grave assumption. Emphasis on the ass.

Surely you don't mean to tell me that there's a real possibility that this man is out here with his butt cheeks hanging out. Surely not.

I checked all of his other sprites. I found nothing.

This worried me.

So, I decided to look up any merch of him. This is how I found out he doesn't have official merch (sad realization. Give him merch).

But I did see someone talking about the official deltarune posters, so I checked those.

THEY DID NOT HELP. IN FACT THIS LOOKS EVEN MORE LIKE SKIN.

And I know they're not canon, but like. Toby certainly had to approve them or give directions, right???

So I went to the fan wiki because surely. Surely, they would have some kind of source listed next to the appearance description.

NOTHING. NO SOURCE. NO INGAME CITATION. NOTHINGGG

Fully desperate, I thought to check the stickers and

THERE'S STILL NO INDICATION. GOD FUCKING DAMMIT

If I'm forced to never unsee this I'm dragging all of you down with me

Someone. anyone out there please. If you know of any dialogue or like literally any detail that describes his real fit definitively so that I can stop thinking about thotting plotting and trotting rouxls kaard, tell me.
