@patheroes: ❛ i know you’re going to do big things. ❜
When Lúcio had initially started gaining a following from the people within his, at the time, small community, he hadn’t thought that it would have expanded as quickly as it had, or to such a wide audience. The people of Rio de Janeiro had suffered so much loss at the hands of Vishkar, something Lúcio’s family admittedly had a hand in causing, and he’d wanted to provide a sort of escape for a few hours. People had begun to lose hope before any sort of resistance had been given, and without some push to remind the people why they were fighting, what they were fighting for, they’d practically invite Vishkar in to continue tearing them down. Though the people had inspired him as well, he’d saw what influence he’d gained, and decided to use that for the better - take back what was rightfully theirs, and make a stand against those who were abusing their power.
But here he was now, face to face with Zenyatta - someone who was capable to making tangible change, initiating communication between the two people and begin to heal the wounds caused by the Omnic Crisis. He’d been someone that Lúcio looked up to, someone else who saw the injustice in the world and was able to convince other people to see it, and have them change for the better because of it - and he’s now telling Lúcio that he’s going to do big things.
❛ -- hey, man, thank you. there’s a lot that’s wrong with the world, if everyone does their part, we can... we will make a difference. ❜
