holy fucking shit, like geneuinely holy fucking shit, spelling be dammned but let me talk my shit, hazbin seaosn 2 with all its writing misgivings is actually such a good example of doing the best of what you got. its clear when viv was writing this season there were uhhh constraints from a24 as well as amazon leading to 2 stupidly short 8 episode seasons yet the pacing was well balanced even if there was a empasis on the vee's, like going from each week to week was like christmas where you just get something magical, yes there are plot contrivances like the whole thing with the vees or anything to do with luci (i think its setup but like yk), yes it ends on a literal friendship saves the day (THAT SONG IS A BANGER THO) but i dont think it needed a war to end on like last season, thats not the point of hazbin hotel, its about redemption, and HOLY SHIT THE SONGS. andrew underberg and sam haft (bless you 1/2 of the living tombstone) were geneienly lyrical and instrumental geneuieses using light motifs as well as creating geneuine fucking bangers, like you got the fucking gays to bop to a song thats just fucking white people propaganda (LOOKING AT YOU VOX POPULI) but i would say could it have done better with its ending, of course it could have, but i say with the circumstances that was given, i quiet like what was given AND I CANT WAIT FOR THE PHYSICAL RELEASE SO THE SHOW CAN BE I N G R A I N E D INTO MY FORM, so for everything, the leaks, the songs, the trailers, and the show, my review is 8.5/10 could have used more lucifer
