What I found most funny about the whole "Bix is Cassian's reason to stay in the fight" is that not only it completely mischaracterises Cassian's character in Rogue One — which we all know Gilroy does not give a shit about — but also his characterization in season one of this fucking show! Do they remember Marva and her phostumous speech about fighting the Empire? Or about Narkina 5, with Cassian being wrongly arrested and Kino's tragic death? One way out! Have we forgotten how these moments, alongside the lack of answers as to what happened to his sister, and the heavy hand of the Empire over Ferrix, radicalized Cassian? What about "Take me in or kill me?".
