Prelude

In the middle of an average suburban town a family can be seen packing items into a moving van among this family there was deeply saddened child who had just put away the last of her belongings, this was our unlikely ally of yo-kai. Your name is . . .

Mom: Camilla! Camilla: …

The mother sighed, “look, losing Mom hurt me just as much as it hurts you, but we have to go to leave to Springdale soon for the funeral—” “But why do we have to stay there?!” the child cried “Grandma because all her friends were there! I can hardly make friends here, how will I make any there… she was so nice…”

Mom: … and i’m sure you will too, cause you’re the nicest thing to come into my life.

With that miss Goodfright pecked her daughter’s cheek, and told her to get into the car when ready. As Camilla’s mom walks to the family car the child stares up towards what she calls a “funny cloud” before making her way to the car

1 year later…

Seems like I’ve drifted through the Solar System for 16yrs including since I’ve passed… neat

With time (and levels) the sisters have grown into bigger and bolder yo-kai

Syrenade

With tons of support and friends backing her up Shyren has become a renowned Siren Star!

Those Inspirited by Syrenade can’t help but confidently take the center stage & of attention, charming all who watch

BIO- Shyren now lets her voice be heard! While she has earned many fans she holds her earliest supporters in close fins

Cerene

In time, bit by bit, Cyrene overcame hardship growing to be at peace at the hardest of seas

When inspirited by Cerene you won’t be bothered by any amount of pressure, staying cool collected and rational no matter the situation

BIO- Cyrene, now composed has been not only approached more but is said to make a great friend by all whom met her! Great to chat with.

Skill- No pressure: When attacked will self heal instantly without using their turn

Cyrene

Cyrene is can hardly keep herself together with the afterlife seemingly always kicking her while she’s down

those inspirited are afflicted with breakdowns, crying heavily and incapable of speech. That is what it’s like for her 24/7

Bio- One can only feel bad for this kai as she is at wits end hardly able to compose herself making it hard to make friends

Skill- Crushed Composure: when hit cries healing tears onto adjacent yo-kai

Shyren

Those afflicted by this kai will find themselves the center of attention when they’d rather not.

Rather that alluring others leading them to doom they may allure others leading to yours

Bio- She uses others misfortune hoping it distracts from her singing voice, her smile always disappears with her voice when caught

I explained in my bare bones Cryptid Clock post that my fan-kai were mainly based off of mythology and urban folklore surrounding cryptids and how I think they could be incorporated into the world of Yo-Kai Watch.

Mothmin is a pretty blatant take on the Mothman and his power to attract the supernatural, alluded to as he is the force that leads Camilla to the Yo-Kai Watch C

Minitaur is putting a spin on a Minotaur and what if a cow wanted to be one with all their might. Fighting for that dream or anything else

Qalli is a Qallupilluit derived from Inuit Mythology and could be the result of what exactly happens when children are taken by the icy seas, or what’s in them.

Minitaur is just fun to draw, also if you’re wondering why their head is so different in their BIO it’s cause I made it a lil late at night

NEED to express how much Qalli has changed mainly cause of how it hurt to draw her & cause her design needed actual reference :’c

Finnaly! Mothmin & Qalli’s BIO’s are done! Along with Minitaur’s getting a remake :D

Mothmin

He was pretty fun, though it was hard to come up with what attribute he would have I think it turned out well

Qalli

Drawing her took way too long to get good at, not sure if this looks good. But it was fun

Minitaur

This yo-Kai’s BIO was completed first. If you noticed Minitaur has been promoted to B rank! And while I said they would take no major role I got attached. I believe they would be the Komasan of Cryptid Clock

My Yo-Kai Watch concept & AU

Yo-kai Watch:Cryptid Clock, a project or at the least a concept I have been working on, involving my original Yo-Kai & Watchers.

Yo-Kai- They are mainly based on the idea of America’s diverse folklore from different cultures & in turn, Cryptids! I wanted them to be like this opposed to all the ‘merican yo-kai in 3. Of course I still want to make my own interpretation of yo-kai & keep the original yo-kai and their wackiness

Center Plot

One night during Spring Break, Camilla Goodfright goes out planning to find something interesting she can sketch & show it off in the hopes of making some friends, as she begins to get deeper into the forest she spots a swirling red glow! She speeds up to catch up to it, tripping & falling as she does, but not stopping. until she comes upon the Dilapidated Hideout, metal sheets & planks lying there for who knows how long. The red glow seems to as it flutters in, seemingly guiding her inside, driven by curiosity she follows, climbing the rickety ladder & entering where there should’ve been a door, The only glow there was from the moonlight coming in as it landed on a object on a work bench, “A Weird Watch?” as she picked up a red glow seemed shine brightly behind her going unnoticed until she fully put it on. Once she did she she turned around to see it dissipate into… Mothmin! “W-Who are you! What is this! Why… do you kinda look like a beanbag? The moth replied to the 1st 2 “ I am Mothmin, a Yo-Kai! You purrrt on my Yo-Kai watch! Welcome to the world of Yo-Kai *chirp!* Don’t worry I’ll make sure you don’t dieee” the moth flew onto her head. a big grin protruding from it’s fluff at the last statement, as Camilla realizes her life might never be the same.
