Can you write a James Wilson x Reader where James and reader had a history where they were in the same med school and even dated, and he had left her for Sam Carr. House somehow found out about all of this and hired her in his department (reader and James don't know that the other one is working at PPTH). House starts playing his games while Wilson and Reader have to navigate their own feelings

"House did you hire new doctor without my knowledge?” Cuddy stormed into the office furious.
"Okay but this time she is really a competent and appreciated doctor, not just a pretty face, so stop yelling mom!" He answered mockingly.
"Still, you have to consult me on these topics!"
"Sure, whatever.” He said with tone that clearly showed her that he didn’t care about it.
Few days passed and both James and y/n still didn’t know that they are working in the same place. House was getting bit impatient, but he haven’t to wait much longer.
Because Wilson on the way to his office noticed her walking to House’s office. He was confused. Was that really her? Maybe he just saw what he wanted. Why would she be there?
He sat bit stressed at his office when House walked in.
"Wow, what happened? One of your wives called?"
"No, no, i just thought i saw someone who can’t be there."
"Oh and who might that be? Adriana Lima? Or maybe Elvis Presley? "House tried to make fun of it even though he knew very well who James meant.
"No, no, i thought i saw my ex."
"Oh come on you lately mentioned that you are wondering what would be if you had never broken up with her.”
"So you decided to call her and hire her?!"
"Yes! Well i expected at least thank you."
"You are fucking kidding, right?" wilson was angry.

Later that day, when James was going to leave he bumped into her in the hall. She accidentally spilled coffee on him.
"i’m so sorry." She said, i’m so sorry." She said very stressed about situation, also clearly unaware who he was.
"Don’t worry i was leading home anyway." He answered. He was more stressed about interaction with his ex than about his shirt, it was dark so the stain should come off quickly.
"James?" She asked shocked, She raised her head to look at him for the first time after her face expression some would think she saw a ghost (Well theoretically he was a ghost of the past) and not a oncologist who was her coworker.
"Uhm, yeah it’s me, long time to not see, huh?" He asked nervously. He scratched himself in embarrassment. His eyes shyly looking at her but not in her eyes.
"I think i should go." She said and walked away, quite fast like she wanted to runaway.
"Did you meet ghost?" House asked as she walked into the office.
But the truth was he knew exactly what happened and he also knew that the best part of game just started.
For the next few weeks House sent her to Wilson’s office for very unnecessary consultations like literally someone could have something looking clearly like stroke and he would be like "y/n go for consultations to James Wilson’s office” trying to act professional and not to laugh which made it obvious that he just wanted to play with them, she just didn’t know why.
And this time it was the same.
"Well, it doesn’t look like cancer to me." Wilson replied.
"I know, anyone with basic medical knowledge knows this, House obviously also does but he just choses to be dense for some weird reason." She said clearly angry with her boss’s behavior.
"I know, y/n, he is… an unique man, i tried to talk to him about that, he just doesn’t want to listen to me, i think it’s just some kind of fun for him."
"I just don’t understand why? Why that would be such a fun to him, i’m sorry but that man is insane i would expect him to i don’t know have fun from… something else." Her voice dripped with frustration.
"I’m really sorry, y/n, that it has to have such an impact on you."
"You don’t have to apologize it’s nor your blame." But she looked at his guilty expression.
"Well, i mean, technically it kinda may be my fault, i might’ve mentioned you in conversation with him once or twice."
"James still it doesn’t make you responsible for his insane behavior." She said with sight.
"He probably tries to be a good friend like that, don’t be too harsh on him." He said knowing his friend really didn’t mean anything bad.
"Good friend by making you have embarrassing and awkward meetings with your ex? Yeah sounds like a great friend."
"It’s not awkward and embarrassing." He said.
"it’s really sweet of you that you try to defend your friend like that, but you don’t have to lie."
"I do not lie. I like meeting you."
"After you left me for Sam?"
"i was young, stupid, i really regret, you deserved much better i wish i wasn’t such a fool. I often thought about you after that, you know?"
"Well we can’t change the past."
"I know, i know that we can’t but maybe you would let me take you out, talk it through?" He asked and you could see the sparkles of hope in his eyes.
"Okay James, i think we could." You said giving him a little smile before leaving his office to come back to House and tell him that patient obviously didn’t have a cancer though he clearly already knew it.
