Our Future, Our Story

After 8 or so years on this blog. I decided to move Azee to my multi over at @kinships 

The reasoning for this is, my dash over here has been dead, half the people I talked to are gone, and Azee’s been asleep because of it. I really only come on to talk to one or two people and it sucks.

At least on my multi, people who wanna RP with ‘Zee can and I don’t have to jump between blogs.

❝ you’re killing me here . even if i did think she was cute , there’s no way she’d think i’m cute , too . ❞ pout. 

“Ryne, are you kidding me?” SIGH. “Do you not see how you two act around each other? Gods, reminds me of Thancred and I a few times...except...you’re Thancred in this situation and I’m Gaia.” A beat.

     ❝ i-it’s not gaia ! ❞ from the way she adamantly denies the claim , it’s obvious that it may , in fact , be gaia .

“I’m not going to judge, y’know. She is cute...in her own...abrasive way.”

“I stopped putting my complete faith in Hydaelyn long before you decided to show your face, Emet-Selch.” There is audible disdain in her voice. “Maybe when I was young and stupid I trusted Her without question....”

“Barring everything YOUR Empire did, can you imagine the pain She had put me through? She took one of my dearest friends, I couldn’t save her. She lets her heroes suffer because there’s never rest, never a respite. It’s like an eternal war against Zodiark and the Ascians that it’d be stupid to trust her wholly anymore.”

((Hello guys! I’m sorry for not being here, since the virus started, Azee has been taking a nap and hasn’t been that active. So I’ve been over on my multi-muse.

     As someone whose ability to read the soul lacked in defined characteristics, Emet-Selch was not oblivious to its’ nature. He knew the basics, the principles – enough to see the gentle hue that once was the warrior before him, heat into an inevitable forest fire of emotion. 

As did the grip at her spear tighten, so did the excitement in his chest to await what followed.

     ❝ I’ve been told I can be an unlikable entity at times, ❞ he chuckles darkly, raising his other hand casually as he meets his index finger to the tip of her spear. It takes but a gentle weight of his glove to lower it from his neck, threatening his full presence. Would she attempt to empower him, well – he’d merely apply more force.

      ❝ This isn’t about paying out our debts, Hero, ❞ Emet-Selch spoke. ❝ This is but a chance for you to delay the inevitable of your Star by entertaining me. So let us continue our little jaunt – ❞

Despite her movement toward him, the Ascian remains ever still. The grin still placed at his lips, head tilting in bewildered amusement as she truly felt she had a fighting chance. It was only at the moment her fingers attempt to grasp the ring in hand, something short of a shimmer, did the vorpal image of Emet-Selch disperse into an eerie fog.

A shade, replicated by the man, himself.

               – HE was no longer PRESENT –

      ❝ OH, so close ! ❞ his voice applauds, the sound of gloved hands clapping in the unforseen distance.  ❝ Your admiration weakens this eternal heart of mine – memories of an old friend whom I feel you’d get along with greatly. 

❝ Truly, you two have so much in common its’ unbearable… But saves a tale for a later conversation. – TELL ME, Warrior of Light. What of this insignificant object ails you so? Is it the sentiment? The memories? –The proper ownership? ❞ 

She trips and stumbles as the shade disperses, luckily, she is able to catch her balance with the grace of a newborn duckling before spinning around and looking for the voice in question.

“Whatever old friends you had are dead, and if they were anything like the friends you keep now….I wouldn’t want to meet them anyway.” Her words are sharp, but there’s a hint of worry, she would never forgive herself if she let him get away with one of her prized possessions. One she was intending to give to someone extremely important to her. If she told him, would he care? Would he use it against her? Would he even destroy it in a futile attempt to rile her up (although, if he did, there would be no telling her rage at that point).

“That ring is mine....from before the calamity.” Which explained its lack of aether, drained out in the events before Dalamud, leaving it a simple ring with the symbol of Halone on it. “It holds memories dear to me, from a time I wasn’t important.” That was a lie, she was always destined to be important, but it was from a point in her life where nobody expected her to move the moon and stars.

“There is no point in appealing to your better nature, for you obviously have none, but that ring is important and I’m going to give it to someone who is as important in my heart.” She glances in the direction of the voice, holding out her hand again. 

[ hard mode was fun, though still a bit easy imo ]
