Personally, I feel sorry for anyone who had to turn 22-years-old before the release of 22 by Taylor Swift. Imagine.... just.. turning 22? Not feeling happy, free, confused, and lonely *at the same time*?? Not.... feeling 22??!! Rip people who turned 22 before the RED album dropped in 2012, but I’m different!

i think the thing about reputation that gets me the most, and the reason i dont understand why as taylor swift fans y’all don’t put it up there with god tier, is that it is without a single doubt in my mind her best story telling she’s ever done. the album starts off so angry and then we start to see her fall in love despite the anger and learning that maybe all this fucking bullshit doesn’t matter and what matters is having REAL people who love me no matter what behind me. and that??? paired with the visuals of the tour???? like that was the first tour i think i’ve ever been to that told the story better than the album itself. and it just blows my mind that as taylor swift fans, most of us are here for the storytelling, and it’s really crazy to me that so many of u hate that album or do not give it the credit it deserves. idk man. rep was in another league and i almost feel if u didn’t like it then u didn’t understand it.

Stop with the “omg we dragged taylor for writing me!” posts and leave me OUT of that narrative!! I have loved that song since it came out and I will NOT be a member of the guilty party like “we” my absolute ass that is all on YOU sis!!!
